The hosts are a very warm and hospitable couple who try to cater to every request and ensure you have a great overall experience. The simplicity and no frivolity nature of Shivam only further adds to the appeal. 

Good food, great service.

Excellent Service, Refreshing Simplicity

We had a wonderful stay at Shiwam. Raj, the owner, was very welcoming and friendly. He gave us a tour of the hotel faciities when we arrived and told us all about the activities and historic sites of the city. Shivam has the most amazing rooftop, where we had all of our meals, prepared by Raj and his wife. Some of the best food we had in India. Raj and his family are kind and honest people, which creates a very warm and personal atmosphere. We had several great conversations with Raj about cultural differences, spirituality, religion, family etc. Made us feel right at home. The rooms live fully up to the pictures online. It was without a doubt the cleanest place we stayed at throughout our travels.

Warm and friendly atmosphere

Had a fantastic breakfast here with my two friends. Delicious food and marvelous cappuccinos. The owner and his wife were so helpful - explained local customs, gave us tips about the city. Lovely people. Will stay here next time I’m in Jodhpur.

Great place, friendly owners

We have stayed 4 night here. The food was so good, that's really difficult to fins a good burger in India... And the room was perfect: clean, big and good relation quality-price. 
The owner treat us really well and he always helped us when we needed. If I visit Jodhpur again I will come back to Shivam Guest House. 

Nice views, nice food! 

You might be tempted to eat here for to a lack of choice.  It's why we came here,  but I wouldn't return.  Food isn't good,  I didn't finish my pizza cause it was so greasy and over cooked and not taste good.  My friend had the worst chicken burger. 
Service is meh.  No fan for cooling down either.  

Bad restaurant 

Unfortunately when we turned up here for our booked room it hadn’t been cleaned and we had to leave. The room was dated (which is fine for a budget room) but the toilet leaked so the bathroom floor was covered in toilet water. And very dirty things in the plughole etc and the sheets covered in hairs and crumbs. So definitely hadn’t been changed for a while.

Too dirty to stay here

Best location...close to clock tower and the fort...the highest building around so the view is perfect....the owner is really helpful and so friendly...same for the staff...my room was magic...bug with balcony and bug bathroom ...all decorated in raja style....i highly recommend. ..thanks...ask for the omelett shop at the entrance of clock tower...really good in pure indian style
