We stayed at this homestay as part of our trip to Coorg for couple of nights. Hosts are extremely friendly and helpful couple. Property is located inside coffee estate and surrounded by other estates. Views are great and premises are very well maintained. Rooms are a bit small but very cosy and well furnished. Bathrooms are clean with a big geyser for hot water. Breakfast & dinner spread was great, and food was very tasty with a local twist. We really enjoyed all the dishes. It's 30 minutes drive from Thadiyandamol trek starting point. Access road is in excellent condition (recently white topped).

Excellent homestay in Coorg area

The Homestay is managed by Mrs.Meena Kalappa aunty and family . Stay was an experience by itself.They treated us like their family . The warmth , care  and hospitality Meena aunty extented is beyond words. The staff is also very helpful .We learnt about Coffee plantation , history of coorg and coorg cuisine.Aunty prepared the  most healthy and yummiest meals for us.Great spread for Breakfast and Dinner. Meena aunty and family took special care when i fell ill . Higlhy recommend .Best stay ever :).


Best Stay Ever

We went in dec 2023 and had a memorable stay here . Our sincere gratitude to mr and mrs cariappa for the hospitality .The food was delicious and they took care of all our special needs. we would definitely recommend this place  and would like to come back and stay here.

Home away from home

I visited there with my family. I had a great stay. Room was clean and tidy.
The owners are lovely. The most I love is their behaviour and the food.  I would love to visit again . Altogether a lovely and peaceful stay.

Value for money 

We stayed here for less than 24 hours but the warmth we received from the owners Meena aunty and her husband felt like we’ve known them for years! Excellent homely food, clean rooms and bathrooms. Will definitely go back for a longer stay soon. Thank you aunty and uncle for making our trip so memorable.

Truly a home-stay

We 3, me my wife and my 7 yrs kid, stayed 2 days and 2 nights. Its our 1st time Home stay.  It's very good. We can feel the warmth of a family to the extent that at the end of the trip, you feel incomplete as 2 days are not enough to enjoy to the fullest. Food is very good, delicious. Hospitality is very nice  Ambience also very good. Only deficiency, rather unhappily was a bit costly dinner. For the varieties and quality, the price is definetely worthy but you can't eat all varieties and they cannot limit with few varieties as they have to satisfy all guests. Simply We are eager to go again when time permits. 

Mind blowing

We had a 02 nights stay at Blue Mountain Estate with my family, I must say it is a luxury homestay in Coorg, rooms are tastefully designed, lovely garden, and the home-cooked food was fantastic, we would definitely come back for a stay

Amazingly Wow

We had a fantastic stay at the Blue Mountain Estate. Our hosts M. Kariappa and Mrs. Meena Kariappa along with their cheerful team were very warm and welcoming  and made us feel at home throughout our stay.

The  home stay was lovely and very well maintained with a beautiful garden. The common areas were well designed and organized.  Our room was clean and well equipped with all we needed.  The food was amazing with many options to choose from for both breakfast and dinner. A big Kudos to Mrs. Meena who took a lot of care to understand what we needed and ensured that we were well looked after even though she was very busy with a full complement of guests throughout. 

We will definitely return to Blue Mountains when we are in Coorg again.  Thank you !



An Amazing Homestay in Coorg - The Blue Mountain Estate Stay

Stayed there for 4 days with sisters and friends.
Homestay is close to some of the major attractions.
Clean, spacious and well maintained rooms, homely and quite environment, friendly hosts, tasty food.
Overall it was very relaxed stay here. We are happy.
