Positives
1. The place is built into a nature's lap, nudged between mountains and the architecture is as nature friendly as it can get. The pipes into the pool come from the natural springs, pool water never felt so good or smelt so fresh.
2. The owner and the staff are very accomodative, let us change, and pick and choose rooms several times.
3. Food is local and fresh, and the breakfast was very good.

Challenges
1. Loud disco music is allowed in all the common spaces. Once the blarring began, both by bachelors and family groups, night and day time, there were no more bird spotting or cricket chirping, felt like I was back in the middle of a pub in the city. We quickly ate food and retired into our rooms, unfortunately, one could hear this even inside.


A haven of nature, with eco-frienly design and accomodative staff but spoilt by blaring speakers

Awful experience. Inability to manage huge groups. They lowered the meal's quality and quantity, and the group ran out of food. This property is overrated  in my opinion. Stay is also not really clean. The group as a whole is really disappointed. The only swimming pool with a view is the property's main selling feature, and the team had a great time in it. Definitely we will not be hosting an event to this place again. They have lots to improve. For the price they are quoting, we have lots of better option in other places of Kerala.

Pathetic and Overrated

There are a few things that really stand out.
1) Location - Located on top of the hill and accessible only via 4 wheel drive vehicles. That means it is pretty cut-off for the general public and is nestled in pristine surroundings.
2) Hospitality - Roy is friendly and a very open person. He and his staff made us really comfortable.
3) Food - This was a surprise for me. Normally, vegetarians don't expect good food at most resorts. However, the food here was really tasty.
4) Natural water pond - This is a must do. The water is not chlorinated swimming pool water but natural water. The water and soil around this area is said to have medicinal qualities (there's a wellness spa right next to the resort, in fact).

Awesome experience

Do you want to experience swimming on top of clouds ? Do want to feel as if you are staying in your close relatives / friends place ... if yes go to ReginaSilva . My trip was a suddenly planned one with my baby during the rainy season . I was mesmerized by the view of the pool . The resort people staring from the security to the owner are very friendly .  The jeep trip from city to the resort itself will give you an adventurous feel . We are planning to go again this year ... Also dont forget to enjoy the natural fish spa.

Swim above the clouds !!!

Our second visit, first in serious monsoon and now in the summer. I've gotta give them five stars even though the pool was sadly under maintenace due to well digging . This place is perched on the side of a steep mountain facing west and is an experience just getting there. ( walked up once but they do supply a 4x4 vehicle, the only thing other than a horse that will make it!!)Deepak, managing partner, runs the place against all logistical odds, very well, giving us what good we required, a pumeling massage by an expert and a drink when required.  We stayed in a tree house which are recently new and surprising spacious and very comfortable. This is a remote place with wild animals and jungle surrounding and once you're here you are here, no popping out for a forgoton beer or such! It is ultimately a place for a complete chill out and some exercise.  I'll be back for a week of massage and recuperation. Thanks.

Outa the way, outa sight.

The Resort was a disappointment even though the staff were extremely friendly and its the only reason I am giving them a star. The pool was under maintenance and unusable which was informed a day earlier and we couldn't cancel the booking by then. Sad because it looked awesome in Traveller photos. The rooms are less than average and the toilet was very dirty and not maintained well at all. There was a huge frog in the closet which luckily I noticed before anyone used it. The food was also ordinary and not much options available but because of the location, you don't have much choice but to eat from there. As a family, the options for trekking are also limited and so we cut short our stay and left a bit earlier than we had planned. The view was stunning but you can only spend so much time enjoying it

A huge disappointment

A place to hide yourself in the serene beauty of nature & lush greenery and rejuvenate your mind. The cottage are so naturally built to keep the waves of silence sounded breeze in harmony with the nature. The resort staff have been so friendly and made us feel very comfortable.
