This is also a good hotel and very well decorated and room service was very good. We are happy to have front open rooms and very spacious. Beautiful open view of kanchanjangha from the window and balcony. 

Good experience 

The ambience is very good. The resort is amidst nature . There are also cottages with good services. The staffs are very well behaved. For all the book lovers...there is a almirah filled with books.  The rooms are fantastic. We totally loved it.  

A memorable trip.

Pine Haven is a lifetime experience. The place, the view, the people- Manisha ma'am (manager), Mahesh ji and all the staffs, the way they treated us, their hospitality, behaviour were so humble and welcoming. the quality of the food was so worth the expense. From hygiene to privacy, everything was disciplined and well maintained. The cottage we had was nothing less than a complete house (two rooms with separate washrooms, drawing room, comfortable couches and tea table, dining table, kitchen). They were so successful to give us the much needed 'home' feeling. Everything about this resort was so warm to take as memories. Truly a heaven for sure. But there's one thing i have to say to that humblest, sweetest and 'the most innocent to look at' boy;  stop smoking, will you? :)
-from that chaotic group who'd start singing every now and then :)

Pine Haven is something that you don't even know you need until you get there and experience it yourself.

Spectacular place. Can view Kanchanjungha from bed and balcony. Kitchen is one of the best you can get in mountain. The resort deserves 10 stars but one star is deducted for the road approaching to this place.

Awesome.....one word is enough

Spankingly clean room and washrooms, warm care of the house staff.  Food was also really nice. We had booked the deluxe room with mountain view and the view from the balcony is breathtaking. Overall its a must visit resort.

Great place to stay in Lamahatta

It is amazingly beautiful. A beautiful place to relax. Friendly and warm hospitality. The road to the property is not as good. Food served is delicious and homely. All rooms have mountains view.  We really enjoyed this place.

Best place in Laminate, Darjeeling

It was one of the best experiences that we had at this resort... hospitality of Manisha madam,Mahesh,muskaan,Vivek,sahil,....and each one of the staffs ....was exceptional indeed...food was too delicious...cleanliness....5 stars....the only negative part is the access road to the resort which shud be taken care of by the concerned authorities  at its earliest....

Wonderful experience at the resort

Awesome place to stay with your family & friends.staffs are very helpful and friendly. Foods are homely and available at very reasonable price. Overall a great place for Weekend gateways. Sunrise view point is a must visit place which is at walkable distance from the resort. 

A great place with both sunrise and kanchanjangha view

Excellent location, hospitality and services. Weather was nice and Kanchenzhongha in all it’s splendour could be viewed from every room throughout the day. Rooms rte spacious and very comfortable. Food is wholesome and always freshly prepared- the caramel custard was just amazing! There are lovely, short treks to a monastery and a small lake through the pine forest, with breathtaking view. The staff are very friendly, helpful and really nice. They arranged a bonfire and barbecue with yummy food. The ambience is so peaceful, you can spend hours and days simply doing nothing.…Overall a great experience !

A peaceful and lovely getaway to rejuvenate yourself

Your apprehension because of the access road lasts only till you reach Pine Haven. The property is rather dream-like in pristine white, well-manicured lawns and a glorious view of mountain ranges in the back-drop. You wake up to the surreal view of the Khanchendzonga range - watching the sunrise reflected on the peaks of the Khanchendzonga from your window or verandah while sipping a hot cup of coffee is an experience that is simply divine. If you feel the need for exercise, there are a couple of easy walks one of which leads to one of the best view-points known or you could follow my example simply lounging on the verandah with periodic cups of coffee and soak up the sun and the unparalleled beauty of the view. After sunset, the hills opposite start to glitter with lights from South Sikkim, probably Namchi and Ravongla etc - also a great sight. The night sky glitters with stars that I had never seen before.
The food options are limited but more than adequate and well-cooked. We were also treated to a barbeque - the Momos were great and the roasted chicken was delicious. 
The staff, of course, are simply perfect - with a ready smile and prompt, great and personalized service - they are the real assets of this property.
The next time I visit, I'll simply laze on the verandah for a week - it is worth it
