Worst experience

 Checked in on July 11, 2022. The rooms are cozy and the entire linen was clean and white. This year Leh, Kargil is warm during July, and fans are required in the rooms.  Rooms in this hotel are fitted with fan also.  Customer service ( particularly with Rakesh) is top class and he even managed our local sightseeing to Museum and drive up to LOC-a place called Hunderman village. It has a small garden where one can have an evening tree. The view of River Shyok from rooms is not clear as big trees obstruct the view. The food is excellent. and overall experience was excellent. 

Wonderful stay at Highland resort.......

This is one of the beautiful stay in kargil with proper amenities and staff behaviour is very good. Food is awesome and loved the vibes of this place and the owner was so helpful in arranging the taxis

Best stay in Kargil

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. With tasty food, high internet, hot water, clean and comfortable rooms, I find it one of the best place to stay in Kargil. If you are looking for stay for any number of days this is the place to stay.

All the positive review got it right

Very good place for travelers, rooms, and bathrooms were clean and spacious. The staff was super friendly. The food was also very fresh and yummy. Wifi speed was also good(70 Mbps). I will definitely recommend this property to everyone if you are visiting Kargil

Good place for long and short stay

I came with my friends and this property was super amazing. the owner of the property was so humble and knowledgeable. rooms were quiet spacious and decorated. breakfast to dinner everything was sorted. loved the services

Best stay of Kargil

We had booked a suite after seeing the photos .
On our arrival it was totally disappointing.
1.there is not enough place for a car to turn
2.there is construction going which we were not informed ,they charged for garden view and it was construction view.
3.No kettle or tea coffee was provided had to ask for it 
4. The slippers in the room were used rubber slippers .had to ask for the disposable ones .
5.room was smelling 
6.dinner was most disappointing,no taste and minimalistic menu 2 veg dal roti n rice and the Suji seera was not even edible
Entire hotel gives a very clostophobic feel .
Would never suggest anyone .
Manager mr Naseer did nothing to make us comfortable only had explaination for things not  available in the rooms .

Felt cheated

Stayed there for almost 3 days in harsh winter and the accommodation was very comfortable. Staff is supportive and helpful. Best place to stay in Kargil with open dining and beautiful view of majestic mountain. Food is just amaazing.

Best hotel for winter stay with central heating in all rooms

If you are travelling between Srinagar and Lek, by road, it is advisable to do it in 2 days , and spend a night at Kaegil, the halfway point. Kargil is very small town, with limited facilities. So don't expect a 5 start hotel. The Highland Mountain resort ( the spa is not operational), is very good place to stay overnight. Rooms are small but adequate, food choice is limited but quality is good. Service is very good. There si enough parking space in the hotel

A very good place to stay in Kargil

Stayed here 2 nights as part of a motorbike trip through the Himalayas. Some staff are great, the manager is a bit rude. The rooms are dirty, the bathroom is an absolute disaster with electrical cables hanging naked in the shower. In positive point is the dinner buffet. The curries were great. On the other hand breakfast is not so good.
