It was a nice stay in Westend, Karwar good rooms and service. the staff here are friendly and helpful. we stayed here one night the breakfast is provided in a buffet system and its good. This is a good hotel for family as well as business trips.

Good hotel

This is a value for money hotel. It is an apartment turned into hotel. Very close to beach and has parking for cars. National highway is also very close to this hotel.
The food is good here. Complimentary breakfast has limited varieties. Staff is very courteous.
Good for one night stay. Beds are really small.

Apartment turned Hotel with a great location

Staying at Westend Hotel was really a gr8 deal with price and other facilities such as Swimming pool, Sports area speacially Table Tennis my daughter n hubby enjoyed playing aft d journey too. Rooms were Spacious like Service Apartment n Comfatable in every way as well as there was a Stationary Cycle for Work out. We were also impressed by d Hotel Staff. Special thanks to Ashish. We vll definitely visit back.

Had a one night stay at the facility in Karwar. It was a last minute booking so paid ~Rs.2000 for the smallest room ( i think)  in the facility.  Centrally located and walk able distance to the main beach.  Roof top resturant food has outdoor seating which has very good view.  Food is average .  But if you care for dining experience with some nice views you would like it.  Rooms themselves are not like a typical hotel. Almost like a 2 bedroom apt. with attached bathrooms . So you would share a common living/kitchen area (which is not of much use).  If you book 2 rooms and get the whole unit  it might be nice otherwise bedroom alone is took cramped.

Decent place to crash

Overall experience very nice rooms are clean. parking available in the compact compound.Five min walk from Rabindranath Tagore beach. Restaurant is slightly  high in pricr smooth checking.swiming pool is not operational.

Valu for money

It's a good bed, it's clean, it's small and it's not hot water. TV dispose with tv5 world for the French but the reception of the channels is not extra, sometimes it jumps. The refrigerator and the boiler available in the room. The windows were opaque, not terrible. There were no mosquito nets and a lot of mosquitoes in the room, besides there are a lot of dead mosquitoes on the walls... the staff are nice. The common spaces are clean and nice.

Correct

This is a well maintained property near Karwar beach. 20 mnts drive from Karwar railway station, walking distance from Rabindranath Tagore beach, Warship museum and Karwar institute of medical sciences (new medical college). This is an apartment converted to a hotel, but with all the facilities. Our room had an AC, clean bathroom and a tv with a variety of paid channels. The WiFi had no internet access. They serve free breakfast, with limited menu. The roof top restaurant serves delicious food. There are other restaurants nearby like the Amrut which serves fish delicacies. The were friendly and helpful.
