Stayed here for 4 nights. Were very accommodating and stayed open for me when flight was delayed. Room ok. Clean
 Close to Mother Teresa's house. Lots of shops close by. Would definitely consider staying again.

Good enough 

We stayed there for about 20 days, because this guest house is near the house of Mother Theresa where we volunteered. The staff is really adorable, always at our service! The rooms are clean and air conditioned. If you are 2 for one room, the rate is more than right for a long time. The only drawback we see is that there are few restaurants nearby... but you can always order and be delivered, which the guest house accepts without worry!

Very good stay.

It's clean, the room is spacious and it is in a good location but it's basic. The mattress is as hard as concrete and I had to ask for a sheet to sleep under (as I want willing to sleep under just a manky blanket).  That said the staff are really friendly and go out of their way to help you. I would stay here again.

Rough round the edges but safe

On the good side the place is very well located; close to mother Teresa's home and the Main Street, has wifi, hot water and very friendly staff but what I did not like is that the staff makes a lot of noise...singing while cleaning the hall, moving furniture here and there for a while, radio music playing at night. Also, would recommend to do a better cleaning of the room because when we arrived there where some olive bones in the floor. 

(At last the walls need painting).

Ok place

I visited kolkata with my father during Durga puja and stayed for one day in kolkata, Hotel is very near to Sealdah station and easy to locate. Room service was good though the room given to us was on ground floor near to reception which kept us disturbing... overall it is an average hotel to stay..

Monovilla inn experience

The hotel does not outshine any other hotels with its decor or any special service. It is just that you will get probably the cheapest place in a quite centrally located area. From here you can take UBER or tuktuks to go to the markets and esplandes.

The rooms had a fan & an AC, everything was clean and the staff was quite friendly. Wifi was also no problem and you are allowed to order delivery food to the Hotel. Oh and their breakfast was always delivered to the room and was really good.

Kolkata seemed quite expensive to us but this place was worth it. Do not expect big lobbies or pompous interior.
