The hotel location is A+. My room is on the 2nd floor with good view to the street. The hotel staff is helpful though the 2 receptionists (I guess they're also hotel managers) are not friendly. They always sit to talk to guests. Never smile. Never say "sir/ madame". The room is neat and clean but like other hotels in Kolkata, the restroom is rather old and mold. Breakfast has a few choices.

Good, but not excellent

It was a location found on emergency by my local colleague, as the one we booked made some mistakes and rooms weren't available. This is a place that it's ridicolous to call hotel and give any star.
Dirty room, walls plenty of stains, electrical system and fitting very approximate and crappy. I needed a table to work and to make it acceptable I washed it with the bath soap to see the real colour of it. Fitting made unprofessionaly. Dirty bed, I asked for clean lining and came a second set same as before. Bathroom to the limit of decency, thoroughly cleaning was an old memory.
Breakfast with almost nothing but plenty of bugs running the buffet whilst a waiter was waving at them to get rid of. 
I place i wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

And they call it hotel

Worst hotel with unprofessional and rude staff. I had my booking done online and needed a early check-in for which I called the property manager more then 10 times but no response. Then called oyo and they asked me to walk in to the hotel and the property manager will help you out. It was raining heavily, somehow I reached hotel at 5am. On asking for early check-in, property manager named SAHANAWAJ, informed me that if I check-in before 6am the I have to pay whole day rent extra and if I do after 6am then it's 30% extra. I decided to wait for 1hr and then check-in, but Sahanawaj were so kind that he informed me that I can't wait in the reception or hotel premises, I have to move out immediately and come back after an hour for check in. Although it was raining, they are so nice to ask me to go out at 5am with my luggage and didn't allow me to wait for an hour. So, I cancelled the booking and immediately went to some other nearby property. I have no idea how this type of people get job in hospitality industry.

SAHANAWAJ, the rudest property manager ever came across.

Visited kolkata with my family and stayed here for a week. Hotel is amazing ,with superb services well room keeping and food. Rooms are cleaned, spacious ,properly ventilated and washrooms are hygeined.

Best stay

We had a bulk booking at this hotel as we were a big extended family attending a wedding in Kolkata. Where do I start from, the rooms are old and the bed linens were unclean. In few of the rooms the AC was not working. Next morning for some of the rooms the water supply suddenly stopped, when inquired at the reception got some lousy replies. Breakfast food quality was extremely poor. Over a period of 2 days there was poha/upma/potato bhaji and poori, with bread, butter, jam and eggs as fixed item. After tasting the poha we preferred to stick to bread butter toast and boiled eggs.

Worst Stay ever

It’s a comfortable, hospitable and clean place to live in for a short to medium stay. Surrounded by lush green Gulmohars bleeding with red flowers, the stay is one of the most calming, safe and healthy places to reside in Kolkatta. The food is hygienic and healthy and the housekeeping staff takes exceptionally good care of the property. Being centrally located, you could easily walk to the nearby markets, street food junctions, Victoria Memorial and malls. Strongly recommended:)

Truly hospitable!

It was a excellent stay during my business visit to Kolkata. I have stayed in Room no 201 for 6 days   . Nice food and  very decent staffs. Will again come to stay here. It's very easy to reach the properties. Rooms size also good.

Excellent stay

Can give 3 stars for Room, but for premises it will be a 1 star, bcz when you sleep can feel the vibrations of vehicles passing infront of ur building.For a second i didn't understood why my bed was shaking. First i got scared, i thought it might be happening due to earthquake, but soon realised as vehicles( Trucks) passing thru ( 4:00AM - 6:30 AM) you can feel the vibrations on bed. I guess this mainly due to poor construction or it might be a renovated old building.

Secondly, 3 stars for Room Service. ( NOTE: You have fixed timing for room service)

Thirdly, 0 star for BREAKFAST. To my suprise Breakfast starts at 9:00 AM that too 1 or 2 items which are not properly cooked.

FINAL VERDICT:  I DONT RECOMMEND PEOPLE TO STAY HERE. YOU CAN GET BETTER SERVICE HOTEL @ THIS PRICE.

Worst Hotel ever experienced

This was my first visit to kolkata,i arrived 15days back,I love the city and specially staff of the hotel as I was a long stayer it was like a my home and staff was so friendly so helpful they took Care of my every small requirement and up keep of Room.
Even the breakfast it’s so well prepared like my home I would love to visit again if I get a chance to come to Kolkata. Lady named Karan at the reception  she made sure that I had wonderful time during my stay,She is very helpful and professional.
