Stayed here for one day. Excellent hospitality by the staff.The hotel situated very near to the Kottayam-Cherthala road. All the main attractions are in a very reachable distances from this hotel.The hotel have a large parking area and some small play amenities for children. Very clean rooms and washrooms . The size of rooms are large. The two negatives was the room which I have stayed was didn't have the dust bins in both the bedroom and washroom and also the Wi-Fi was only available in common areas. 

Very good hospitality

Even though this is a budget hotel we felt it was over priced for what you got. We have stayed in much nicer places for less money. The bathroom was not clean and the WiFi did not work. There is no view of the lake. The man on reception was very friendly and helpful though. 

Overpriced

In this hotel we will meet Peter from Nagaland at the reception. Peter is really a good person, very friendly who will help you for anything.
Rooms are nice and price good.
This place is wonderfull.

Very good place

The Lake Palace resort is in between the Kumarakom bird Sanctuary and Govt. Boat jerry. This is a budget property and in no way an up market one. The rooms and bath roles are big and clean. But the property seems to be old. The restaurant is practically non functional, atleast when I visited. Better to take food outside. Otherwise value for money hotel.

Budget property

I really loved the stay for a night.It’s a budget hotel but the service they provide is amazing. I felt so comfortable during the stay. One thing to be highlighted is their FOOD! It’s so delicious! For those who look for budget hotels and need homely feeling, go for them. I guarantee you, they won’t disappoint you!

Home away from home !

The rooms are clean, big and comfortable. The location is very good for boating and next to the backwaters. Parking available. We enjoyed the friendly staff as well as the good food. They were also very helpfull with everything. We would like to come back to this nice place!
