Happened to stay here as guest along with AT ROVERS, off roaders club members  who were having their yearly meet-up and road rash... (Invited by my cousin and senior member of AT ROVERS -- MR UDHAY THAMPI)

Vagamon Heights - spread over 280 acres exceeded my expectations in every way. The off roading expedition was personally monitored by AT ROVERS senior members and Mr Hashim, owner of the resort.

The serene location, coupled with impeccable hospitality, made our stay truly memorable. Food was exquisite.

The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The rooms were clean, well-appointed, and offered breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. 

The resort's amenities, including the recreational facilities, added to the overall experience. 

I highly recommend Vagamon Heights for a rejuvenating and enjoyable retreat.


Impeccable Hospitality 

Vagamon Heights is a resort, which is supposed to be a man-made attraction, but other than the rooms, this campus is mainly a natural attraction. It's a big land in the mountain where there are plenty of beautiful sceneries. There are many activities as well inside the resort like trekking, campfire, indoor sports, etc. Spending 2 days inside the resort is definitely worth.

For traveling within the places inside the resort, they have jeeps. The roads inside the resort are completely off-roads, because of which only jeeps can travel. It will be very shaky while traveling in the jeep. It's kind of a mini adventurous place.

There are activities to do inside the campus the whole day, it's preferred to checkin in the afternoon and checkout in the morning after 2 days so that we can get the best of it.

The temperature is also amazing. It was cold when we went there. This is a place that can be visited anytime in the year. Rainy season might be a bit difficult most probably, but should be fine.

The food available in the resort is also good. It's similar to home made foods.

It was interesting for us that there was a Malayalam movie shot in this resort - Ramante Edanthottam.

Superb location. Great service. Even though the rooms are pretty old and is due for renovation, their service and location of the property will keep you positive. Its not like other  typical Vagamon properties, where you see lot of tea and cardamom plantations. In this property, you feel like you are inside a forest, with sound of cricket 🦗 and birds through out the day. Best place if you are a nature lover and okay to sleep in mediocre rooms.

Superb stay in Vagamon 

We visited in early December of 2019. The estate provided a calm and quite atmosphere to refresh ourselves. The woodpecker top room was spacious and the balcony opens to a breezy forest like background. 
We liked the boat pedal ride and the zip line over the lake. The view points and the jeep ride were also nice. 
The highlights of the trip were the food - naadan, healthy and freshly made, and the courteous behaviour of all the staff! 

A pleasant refreshing stay!

We came in group 3 families from Chennai , and took the Wood Side Cottage . The location was awesome . Great Food , very friendly Staff including the Jeep drivers and Cooking Staff.  Barbecue in the evening was really great stuff , Food is home made style and we loved it . Overall the experience I would say we loved the place and hospitality of the Staff. Loved it

Stayed at the exclusive campsite with my cycling group, Pedal in Tandem. Had an amazing overnight stay here. The campsite was very clean and in fact quite luxurious. The bathrooms were nice, barbecue was absolutely delicious.

We arrived in the evening after a long day of riding and were immediately served absolutely delicious lunch, which the staff had saved for us. It was amazing! The coffee/tea was also great, The staff was very courteous and also arranged alcohol on request. Dinner (after barbecue) was also great.

Overall, we were very well looked after. Unfortunately, we had just one evening and early morning to explore the sprawling property. We definitely need to spend more time here next time.

Lovely stay at the campsite at Vagamon Heights!

We went with 9 friends and family to this resort...You' ve to park our car in the parking area in the front and will be transported to the resort office in their jeep. If u have a vehicle with good ground clearance you can use that also. The resort has about 4-5 houses with 2-3 bed rooms...Different houses has different type of rooms.. It is cool inside and no ac is there..We stayed in two different type of rooms.. We stayed wood house, where rooms were spacious...In another house, which was around 800 meters away from the resort, rooms are small but good.  The bathroom was neat and clean. There is a play area near to front office where you can practice archery and play badminton. It is absolutely a isolated area, so that it is advisable you travel in groups...Al the commutation inside the property is using the jeep.. The cost of travel is included in the rate... There are many beautiful view points within this resort which are indeed peaceful and private as it is not accessible to outsiders. Also they have constructed metal stepz around a huge tree so that you can climb safely to the top. There are a couple of beautiful lakes within the resort premises where there is provison for pedal boat, kayak and river crossing and also many other adventure sports .Also cute dog Puppy and her kids who accompanied us everywhere we went. The highlight of the resort is the tasty food they serve.  I would recommend this resort to families and couples who are looking out for a private holiday and if lucky you can see film stars because we were told that more than 30 or 40 movies were shot there. We could also see several butterflies and moths which we had never seen before. They will take you for trekking and all ....Lovely place to be enjoyed.

Nature at its best...lakes..hills..forest..every thing together...food was tasty..good staff..unfortunate place with unfortunate memories...campfire was awesome..don't miss treehouse..beautiful cottages...

Christmas at vagamon heights 

How did I find this place?? Well after seeing the malayalam movie 'Ramante Aden Thottam, I began sesrching the net for the resort. Atlast I found the place. So we- me wife and 4 yr old daughter visited here in the month of April.  
You' ve to park our car in the parking area in the front and will be transported to the  resort office in their vehicle. If u ve a vehicle with good ground clearance you can use that also. We were received by the owner himself and also the resort manager. We had booked for 'woodpecker up' and  checked in was prompt. The room was small but good. There was no need for any kind of airconditioning as it was naturally cool. The bathroom was neat and clean. There is a play area near to front office where you can practice archery and play badminton. Later we went for resort tour in their jeep. There are many beautiful view points within this resort which are indeed peaceful and private as it is not accessible to outsiders. Also they have constructed metal stepz around a huge tree so that you can climb safely to the top. There are a couple of beautiful lakes within the resort premises where there is provison for pedal boat, kayak and river crossing and also many other adventure sports .They also had a horse called Goble which was very friendly. Also cute dog Puppy and her kids who accompanied us everywhere we went. The highlight of the resort is the tasty food they serve. They say one of the owners we had met was an ex chef at Taj. He supervised preparation of each of our meal and everything was indeed delicious. 
I would recommend this resort to families and couples who are looking out for a private holiday and if lucky you can see film stars because we were told that more than 30 or 40 movies were shot there. 
We could also see several butterflies and moths which we had never seen before.
