We was staying in the hotel first week of august and group of friends.The hotel service,Food and Manager Omparkash is good and very cooperative and has good knowledge about the tourist sights.We booked taxi package with him and he give us good driver and Innova for entire Leh local,Nubra,Pangong Lake and Sham valley.He also booked tent for Omprakash In Nubra and Pangong was good according to remote and far flung area.

We highly recommend this hotel for every one, who want to visit Ladakh and accommodation. nearby main market.

The hotel is very centrally located, the city center is merely 1 km away and the airport can be reached within 20 minutes.

The rooms are spacious, comfortable and with a good view. 

The hotel also has with a large parking and a beautiful garden where you can enjoy a pleasant time at tea time or you can also enjoy the gastronomy of the restaurant.

The food served was divine. I would especially like to mention the service provided by the staff specially Ompraksh  
They just went out of their way to keep us satisfied, moreover they behaved in a completely friendly manner.

Hotel Namgyal Palace is your one-stop destination for quality hotel accommodations in Leh.

If i have the chance I am definitely coming back again.

Peaceful place to stay in Leh

Hotel Namgyal Palace is a very good place to stay at Leh / Ladakh of India. The hotel is situated in a very good location. Also the hotel has very good garden and view. The restaurant is well equipped and the food is very good. For me, it is a very good place to stay at Leh and to roam around the Leh for site seeing and travel to other nearby places.

A very good hotel. Decent prices. I loved their breakfast buffet. Courteous staff. A definite recommendation. Mid of May is the best time to visit Leh Ladakh. The hotel staff will help you get all the necessary travel permits nearby. 

A very good hotel

I recently stayed at this property (3 nights) with my friends whilst on our trip to Leh in Aug'17.

Would certainly like to say that the overall property is good however, Not at par with the price point that it charges- It's menu states Rs 30/ water bottle however, the hotel charges Rs 50/ water bottle. Also, the room tariff doesn't justifies the facilities as provided by the hotel, considering it's competitors in the same vicinity.

Having said that, it is ideally situated @ down town (location) wherein everything is easily accessible (Hop- Skip & Jump)- Be it rental Bikes, local shopping street, Cafes, Restaurants, Airport transfer and route to Nubra Valley, Khardung la & Pangong etc. 

I would highly recommend to consider other options (as available) before finalizing this hotel or atleast do check online rates before making final reservations. 

P.S- Checkin & Check Out timings of this hotel is 8 AM (period)

Overall, the rooms are nice & clean (Pls prefer the front facade rooms on 2nd or 3rd floor), prompt room service, 24x7 Hot water availability and decent menu categories with acceptable taste.

Good hotel with excellent location value preposition!

We were a group of 4 families traveling and stayed here for 4 nights. 

Pros:
- Conveniently located.
- Support staff are good
- Being a small hotel, we could summon the staff to attend to the needs
- We could tell the chef our food needs and he could prepare them. It was amazing

Cons:
- Extremely chaotic place with no defined way of doing things
- Very difficult to get running "Hot" water when you need it
- They could not fix my leaking water problem in bathroom. It was a nightmare entering the bathroom with floor full of water
- No wifi. It gets very difficult when the valley has not Mobile Internet and the hotel also stops their wifi.

Mixed feelings

Don’t try this hotel for stay and don’t get impress by its images. It’s a very bad service and low level of hospitality hotel. Reception is like a sarai with no one responsible to address. 

Don’t even try to think about booking for stay in leh. You can get much better options

Bad experience hotel

The rooms were nice. Looking at the rooms we decided to stay in the hotel but the service....if at all you can say it as service. They said 24 hr hot water. Dont know which 24 hr??? You call the reception maybe after 5 attempts they pickup and say "ho jayega" then nothing at all. Terrible to say the least

GOOD ROOM TERRIBLE SERVICE

i booked it for my friend  karan pal from Goibibo and stupid owner did not gave room saying we don,t take online bookings so i asked him why u are displaying it online , he was such non sense person . dont book this hotel if u want to remain safe
