 Having a disco bar  with restaurant. Hotel is in main market of Mcleodganj. Nearby atmosphere is good. Very noisy at night due to Disco Bar. ACs needs replacement or service. However, stay was comfortable. 

Comfortable Stay

l am unable to comment on the standard of accommodation as I had to cancel this booking due to an India V Australia cricket match being moved from the area.
What I can comment on though is the absolute lack of any semblance of customer service shown by management at this establishment.
I'd booked this accommodation through booking.com with a credit card as guarantee. I was then bombarded with requests to pay up front through a bank transfer. I was not happy to do this and informed the hotel. They were insistent, stating that my accommodation might be cancelled if full payment was not received. On one evening I was getting hassled by two different individuals on WhatsApp for payment. They were also telling me to get in touch with my travel companion, who had booked separately, to pay! Despite me reiterating my concerns about paying in this way they were insistent, rude and impolite in their bombardment. Worried I would lose the accommodation I relented and tried to pay via my credit card. Payment was declined on a number of occasions. The manager could see this from his end and told me to keep trying or use another credit card! I had to speak to my card provider to get them to allow this transaction. Eventually the transaction went through although they charged 1,300 Indian rupees more than the price on booking.com. Given the experience to date I wasn't going to argue this fact.
Roll forward four weeks and unfortunately the cricket match I was hoping to see in the area was moved elsewhere in India necessitating me cancelling this booking. I contacted the hotel stating this and requested a refund which was within the free cancellation window. The informed me that the GST amount attached to this booking would be withheld. I informed them that nothing short of a full refund would suffice.
At this stage they threatened to stop the entire refund process, a decision they eventually reneged upon, and refunded me an amount that was 6,620 Indian rupees short of my initial outlay. This has now been left with booking.com to pursue further before I get my credit card provider involved.
I find it unreasonable to withhold the GST amount on accommodation that I had never used. Additionally, the experience with the staff was discourteous and unprofessional. I would urge them to review their procedures and train their staff to provide better customer service.
I hope they take this feedback constructively, and that they will take the necessary steps to improve their service in the future.
If they don't, please take the above as fair warning!

Nothing Lavish about customer service here!

I booked lavish inn and it was my first time visit here they helped me to reach at hotel over calls and after that they parked my vahicle by own and next day they helped me about nearby place that I can explore here. Everyone is here very helpful and always ready to help. And the most loving thing is their weekend music party you can enjoy your vacations here and the only entertainment point at mcleodganj is this hotel. Highly recommended.

Awesome services and helpful staff

Nice Clean hotel in the city .Beautiful full view from room no 802. Tasty food in restaurant and cafe both . If you are coffee lover must visit their ground floor cafe for special coffee .
helpful staff .Also it is easy to locate in market, 2 minutes walking distance from main square of mcleodganj.

Delicious food and luxurious experience

It was a wonderful stay , combination of music , delicious food & luxurious rooms made our stay memorable. 
As per my experience I would recommend this property to all my near and dear ones .Thanks to the courteous staff

Most happening place to stay

Very well located hotel. Very nice view of the balconies of the rooms on the side of the mountains. welcoming and helpful staff. Spacious and comfortable room. Proposal for additional heating: very appreciated in February....

I visited with my family and all of us enjoyed at Lavish inn. Food is very yummy you also try it here once.
Overall good experience ..highly recommended. Location is also easy to locate. This property situated in middle of the market ..just 2 min walk from main square or bus stop.

Great Experience at Lavish

It is easy to locate, best services, soft spoken staff with smile and modern amenities in the rooms. Price is affordable overall good experiance.Must visit, also have disco which is played in saturday only. I did a lots of fun here...

Best Stay and Services ever.

So Treebo Lavish Inn overall was pretty Bad. 

1. Right from I checked into hotel room was not ready all the necessary things were not in the room already like soap, shampoo etc things they arranged after we enetred the room . Towels were not available and when asked for it we were told that they had gone for laundary and you have to wait for it for atleast 2 hours to get them. Its pretty shocking for us to get this answer from staff instead of they arrange it for us.

2. We went with two infants and we requested them for electric kettle which they first straight away refused to give but after some arguments they arranged it. This all happened in between first hour of our check in to Hotel.

3. We raised a complaint to Treebo and they in return ahve asked staff about the issue. Then staff people cam to us why we complained to Treebo and said to us that Treebo won't come here to solve your problem and now you get queries resolved from them only. They also said why we booked through Treebo.

4. It has a discotheque too which I think is the only one in there and is hyped so expect lot of disturbance in night and shouts of fight among people too. 

With all these some of their staff is really nice and they really helped us but overall  i will not suggest this place

Strictly Not recommended

the property is very centrally located so choose here to stay when travelling not on your own vehicle.due to the congestion in the area its difficult to reach the hotel on your car. moreover the hotel lacks parking facility. the rooms have the best view to offer. the rooms are spacious and clean. the toilets are large and clean, though lack in toiletries. the room service is poor.
