If you want to get away from the city, this is the perfect place. Arun’s house is set in a beautiful plot with coconut, banana, papaya, mango and other trees and plants. The house faces a lake and paddy field - perfect spot for yoga, meditation and sitting with a book. The village is beautiful, green and tranquil and a gorgeous place to go for walks. Arun and his family are lovely hosts and the home cooked food is delicious! 

Tranquil and relaxed 

I came here to do Ayurvedic treatment. The place is just perfect for that. The small village of Mepral allows us to explore India in a calm way. The family is love and always available to the slightest request. Nature and animals are on your appointments to calm your mind! I leave here with better physical and mental health. I recommend that you close your eyes whether for Ayurvedic treatment or just an exploratory stay.

Ayurvedic stay

This was our first homestay and we didn’t know what was in store for us. I must say we had a wonderful time. It was indeed a home away from home with a Warm and Friendly family,

If you like a quiet place far from the busy city life surrounded by nature then look no further. We had a room on the upper floor to the east and had amazing views of Rice fields, Fish Farm with ducklings, Chickens & a shed with 4 cows. It’s the place where you don’t have to go anywhere to watch birds like Jungle Drongo, Kingfisher, woodpecker and many more. We were lucky to see Fireflies and Bats very closely.

It was such a lovely, grounding experience away from busy city life; with tasty home cooked meals and wonderful people around.

Tranquil stay with nature

I arrived at 1515 Mepra by coincidence. And what a wonderful magic of life. Everything I needed was there. A serene nature. Beautiful and warm family. Open hearted space. Natural materials in the rooms. Full Confort. Beautiful view on the nature.  Even a hammock for an improvised Nap.

A beautiful and quiet trésor where to stay

Had been to 1515 Mepra for a day with family, my little one had a good time with Arun's kids and the hospitality provided by Arun and family no words to describe. Homely dishes prepared by his mother and ensuring we are comfortable all through our stay. Thanks again Arun and family.

Homely n friendly, nice place to stay

We went to 1515 Mepra in August during all the rains and floods. In spite of this, Arun and his family made our trip very memorable and comfortable. If you are looking to experience the simple life of Kerala, this homestay is for you. The surroundings are peaceful with paddy fields all around and with cows, chickens and ducks around the property. It reminded me of my grandparent's farm I used to visit as a child. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. The food is cooked by Arun's mom and very traditional and tasty!! Just the right place to get away from all the noise and pollution of the city and relax!!

Gem of a homestay in Thiruvalla!!

The room was big, very clean with a splendid view of the countryside, the family was lovely, with little care and the children so happy and kind, I felt like family and we laughed a lot.

It is located in the heart of the rice fields, in a peaceful and luxurious environment, a treat for the eyes especially at sunrise and sunset. The rooms are comfortable, equipped with showers. When for the owners: they are charming, very affectionate: they take care of your comfort. I have received Ayurvedic care provided by professional and efficient technicians and mentored by 2 doctors who are available daily to ensure serious and rigorous monitoring.

A Real Stay

The first thing that is surprising is the tranquility of the place. It is a relaxing, green place surrounded by bananas, coconut trees, mangroves and other trees. The neighborhood is very welcoming. The rooms are pleasant, comfortable with a class and convenient bathroom.

A haven of peace with very good service.

A great experience in this guest house, located in a lost village in the middle of forests and rivers. The rooms are very well laid out and very clean. The restaurant and service are exceptional and quite remote from the village which is very rustic. If you are looking for contact with the local population in a safe and comfortable setting, this hotel is for you!
