Property is good. View is awesome. Food is good.

Dirtiest pool i have even seen. Service is less than average. Rooms are very average with the amount they charge. No cleanliness (you have ask for it).

Water bottles they give are not sealed, means you got the tap or normal RO water (can't say).

Average Experience Below Expectations.

Property is good but the service is pathetic. Owner and staff don’t have any priority in customer service. We stragglers for the room allocation 2hrs inspite of prior bookings. Don’t have basic sense of timing, food quality blow average. Rooms are ok but the most of the amenities are not working. Throng twice if you are planning for this designation.

Poor service quality

We are event organisers and we were invited by their Delhi sales team to visit and experience the resort so that we can promote it. When we visited, the resort seemed alrite, although parking was inadequate and didn't seem safe to park vehicle. Rooms are small and basic. 

But the worst part was the owner who happened to be there and treated us badly to give us a nightmarish experience that we had to leave right then. God knows how can someone in hospitality business behave like that. Pathetic and dreadful experience. They invited us, we went only after repeated requests, and then they humiliated us. Unbelievable!

Basic resort. Horrible owners. 

good food ,Good rooms ,pet friendly, Sal wood is really near to nature , location was very good ,children enjoy lots of activities. Staff was very polite. multicuisine food available. Swimming pool very clean

Good Food ,Good stay

You can visit this place if you want to loose your mind and money.. this place is situated in hills with narrow street which you’d think is good to have a peaceful time away from city but this place will give you head ache because of the condition of their rooms and the managements.. the family suite we stayed in didn’t have enough amenities (toilet roll, soap, milk powder tea) you will not find enough slot for heater to work. And guess what these guys don’t even know that rooms don’t have power socket when the heater require one to work.. there telecom lines are all disconnected we had to go back and forth to counter to check the numbers to call cafeteria and room facilities..  If you are not a trained driver don’t even think of going to this resort because you’ll run out of resorts to go out of this resort..
During our checkout they charged us 10k extra and when asked for refund they said rest assured we will refund the overpayment today itself.. it’s been almost one week and I have been struggling to get my refund..
If you are ready to spend 7K for single room or 10K for family suite then I would suggest you to stay at LEMON TREE hotel.. way better than wasting your hard earned money here.

Relaxing atmosphere in the lap of nature.
Beautiful property, well maintained. 
Mouthwatering food, specially " PANEER LABABDAAR".

And also Sohan Bhaia from kitchen for providing fast services .
Though due to covid we were not able to enjoy Pool or Spa services , ( as these were not functional).
Pocket friendly prices .
Services on which they need to improve - kids zone .
Definitely recommended and would like to visit again. 

Awesome memorable stay

Sal woods is really very good place surround with natural beauty. children enjoy a lot long indoor ad out door game and activities. from my side thanks to staff of housekeeper , catting, and food was also good. specially buffet dinner.. food And room cottage deluxe i have a booked good and awesome. specially thanks to MR SATYTAJEET JI ( 9582292930) for good arrangement. and i re visit summer vacation. all over experience 5/4.5 ratings 

Beautiful Resort

Bad pool below average food just average rooms bathroom too small and stinking poor linen cottages situated far apart from one another absolutely a no no for a family get together. For couples may be nice romantic place. Staff was cooperative and courteous 

Stay at salwoods 

I have visited with my family and have taken delux cottage.We have throughly enjoyed the beautiful environment in the lap of nature. Room service is limited and it's OK to me as restaurant is well established in the middle of resort. I can understand the limitation of room service as it's not hotel. But, on my polite request they have done room service effectively. The kids playing area is reasonably built and swimming pool is good.I found the staff cooperative and speaks politely. I want to appreciate all the staff as being in forest / hilly area they do struggle little bit to maintain the services. But, overall it's a comfortable stay for me and my family.  Electricity back-up is good , rooms being of wood they have little odd smell initially but in few minutes you don't feel it.The car parking area is available and they also help to bring car through a steap passage. Food quality is excellent.

I will surely visit again.

Calm and peaceful place for rejuvenation.

Salwood is a jungle/forest resort. 
It is deep inside the forest of Dehradun it’s almost 10km away from city area. 

They have beautiful cottages of different -different types. 
They have in-house activities as well for all age groups they charge nominal fee for that.. 
pool area is also nice, paid spa centre is also on pool side. 

They offer good food as well only problem is the service, in-room dining service and other room service is late/not quick.

Overall place is fantastic.
