It was an awesome experience with Hotel Grand Raj.. The most important thing about this hotel is tha space and its location. It is on the main road opposite to Kangra bus terminus. In Himachal its good to have hotels on the main road. It has its own spacious parking and lot of empty area which makes it quite airy too..The rooms were spacious and has all the amenities. The food is tasty...All n all it was a pleasant experience with Hotel Grand Raj.. Highly recommended.

Really Grand Hotel

Stayed here for two nights in April 2022

Pros:
1) The front desk staff is kind and courteous. It is manned 24 hours.
2) This is the best hotel available in Kangra.
3) The front lobby/external décor, corridor the garden area are excellent.
4) The on-site restaurant ambience is great and the food quality is also good.
5) The location is great. There are plenty of eating/shopping options available within a short walk.
6) The tariff is reasonable. 
7) The WIFI is free and connectivity and speed were good.
8) The room size was big.
9) They have good, same day, laundry service
10) The place is quiet at night and the sleep quality is good.

Cons:
1) The room interior décor is poor compared to the exterior looks of the hotel.
2) The bathrooms are small and layout is poor.

Best place in town

Was there recently on my way to Dharamshala after visiting all Devi Darshans stayed a night. Nice rooms with plenty of fresh air & sunlight in the morning Well maintained lawn, Nice restaurant will cook food according to your taste What more to expect.

Nice cosy place for stay on the way to Hills.

Its the best hotel available in Kangra..... restaurant is good and serves quite a variety.... chinese may not be authentic there but its tasty.... indian cuisines are great... very reasonable and easy excess.... provides parking too.... rooms are a good... may be scope for improvement but thats what tou can get best in a small  town

Best in town

Stayed here for a night.Its in the centre of the city exactly opposite to the bus terminal but still has ample amount of space.Lawn space is almost twice the size of the hotel

You don't get much options in Kangra so without any second thought you can stay here if you want to stay in Kangra

Rooms are good, spacious,has AC,Fan and heater.Service is good and had food once it's good.

Best hotel in Kangra

Pros:

1. Extremely helpful staff
2. Fabulous location with mandir at a walkable distance
3. Basic Amenities like ATM & departmental store are right outside the hotel
4. Ample parking space
5. Sprawling lawn available

Cons: 
1. Property structure is quite old now and NOT being maintained, example rain water was dripping right in the middle of the corridor
2. Bathrooms are not clean and have old rusted fittings
3. Hotel is not centrally air conditioned 
4. Breakfast menu and concept has not changed for years

Good Hotel if you are not expecting luxurious stay

This is the best property near Brajeshwari mata temple ,Service staff is very courtesy and the lady receptionist is very helpful , rooms are good , they have a bar and a restaurant and parking space is huge.

To all the visitors who wish to enjoy a meal with the family, sorry it's a strict no.... I had come for a lunch with a family of 8. And the staff served us a meal after 60 min even if we had placed the order before other 2 tables( reasons not known). The approach of the steward( Kamal) was extremely unprofessional both in service and humility. 
It's an utter wastage of family time. Sorry. I don't recommend this place at all.
Request ppl at the helm to take appropriate action.

Poor and extremely unprofessional service in the restaurant. 

Once of the great hotel in Kangra which provide the high quality stay and luxury stay. It is nearest to the Bus Stop so it is even great for the people. I visit this hotel with my friends and i get the incredible experience. I don't imagine that too much great hospitality we get in this hotel.

Luxury Hotel

1. Room was clean and tidy but small 
2. We stayed at executive room which was road facing or simply no view. 
3. Staff behaviour was awesome specially the receptionist Madhu and the room service guy. 
4. View from terrace garden is awesome. 
5. Room service is prompt and food was tasty
6. Location is major plus point. Just infront of ISBT
6. Overall staisfied and recommend.
