Stay was amazing, staff were friendly and helpful. 
Food was good.
We can see Mt.Kanchenjunga from our room.
Value for money ! 👌😊 Overall had a great experience! Mr.Sagar, helped us with Pelling  sightseeing and  to our next destination!

Excellent 👌

Magpie Pachu Provided excellet room. The view is awesome from hotel. Good food options available in the restaurant. The hotel staff are very polite and courteous. They provided a room heater as well which was very useful as it was very cold weather during our stay. 

Excellent Hotel with amazing view

Very beautiful location. Stay was comfortable. Excellent gesture by hotel staff. We propose everyone to have the occupancy. Hotel management is good. Room tarif is reasonable.  Rooms are neat and clean

Super climate, beautiful lower location (away from the busy street) nice and smiling staff, good food, neat n clean rooms. Mr Sagar who manages the resort is a super polite person and always agree what customer says - top on the service level. Bipin and Oporna at the restaurant - world class service and promptness and always smiling. I took the room with the balcony at the first floor, attention needed as wrong instruction given on the table in the room, flush i nthe washroom was not working but fixed in no time once complained. not to forget Mr Dawlaendup lepcha - always ready to serve you 

Best Choice when you are in Pelling

We stayed for 2 nights in December with family including elderly parents and a child. The rooms are large. The service is decent and the staff are helpful. 
However the generator backup is woefully insufficient. Pelling has an electricity problem and this meant that on both nights the room heater, electric kettle and geysers weren’t working. The power points were working intermittently which meant we couldn’t charge our phones before starting out in the mornings. 
There’s no point in having and charging for  heaters and geysers if they can’t be used in the cold winters. 
We’re definitely not returning to this hotel again. 

Chilly uncomfortable stay without electricity 

The view is spectacular, the food is good, and the service is friendly. Two stars for that. Don't stay here if you want to sleep, though. 

Right now it's 4:30am on our second sleepless and fortunately last night. Dogs bark constantly right outside of the rooms and keep you awake. It's incredibly annoying.

We had moldy pillows we had to exchange for clean ones but I'm pretty sure there's mold in the room because we all get stuffy after a while and it smells a little moldy.

There is no heat. Just a space heater and blankets. 

Very few amenities (no bar even). 

Don't sleep here, you won't be able to anyway 

The resort is beautifully located, is very well maintained, with great staff, with the warmest of smiles and friendliest hospitality. The food is also good. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The garden is a fresh place to sit in the sun, enjoy the coffee and the amazing view of the whole Kanchenjunga range.

Amazing location, great and very sumptuous food, comfortable rooms and outstanding staff.  Ever smiling and service oriented team run by their effervescent Sagar Subba. Magpie Pachu Resorts an out of the world experience 

We had visited Magpie pachhu in July, its located lil outskirt of Pelling, but you get mountain facing room from that location. Its a perfect stay if you want to have a relaxing vacation. Very serene and calm place. Sagar (Mngr) and Dawar was very courteous. We had a very good experience during our stay.

Mesmerizing Place for a Perfect getaway

The hotel is located slightly outside the main Pelling town, but at an excellent location. The rooms are cosy with a balcony & an outstanding view of  Khangchendzonga. The staff is polite, warm & helpful. Breakfast & dinner all pure vegetarian was outstanding on all days &  none of the items on the main menu were repeated.
The property has a big dining room & a warm sitting area where you can view some rare images of sikkim and its residents. Many books on Sikkim's history & culture were also available for reading. Some construction was going on, but was more of interior nature than actual civil work, so the noise levels were not disturbing. A slight irritation was the food smell from the kitchen which permeates to the rooms located above the kitchen & the dining hall. Better ventilation arrangement for the kitchen should easily resolve the issue. Overall experience was excellent and pleasant
