i havent eaten at the restaurant but at that time I had taken a distributorship of amway this was in 2003 or 2004-some of the amway meeting were held there at that time,am no longer in amway now-I stay at kunnathurmedu not far from the hotel-intend to visit the restaurant shortly.

I tought it was ok.

This is a good hotel  . Nice location and good facilities. Staff members are professional and one can really find a good atmosphere by staying in guys hotel . Good food and there is a void bar as well . Really very tasty food and courteous stall members

overall it is a very good hotel having very good rooms,lot of greenery,children fun area,good bar resturant, balcony for quiet sitting,lot of space parking under tree sheds, nice location,nice impressive entrance,Breakfast in peaceful ambience we enjoyed

fantastic experience

We have been here for a lunch , food and service was average. Beautiful property but they're focusing just on bar and alcohol sale not on room's .can be maintained better.willnot recommend for a stay, until they improve on facility and service.

Location is good.
Rooms are spacious. 
Other than those nothing is good about this hotel. 
Restaurant served very limited breakfast but tasty. Restaurant is very poor in hygiene and neatness.
Staff are polite.

Stayed there for a day. Room is neat and tidy.Front office is good. Employee attitude is cordial. The entrance to the hotel resembles an old fort,in fact the Palakkad fort is very close by. Food is good but break fast has minimum choice. Check out is 24 hour. Good for a short stay.

Hotel Fort Palace is situated near palakkad Fort

About 6km from palakkad Junction railway station and 1.5 km from KSRTC bus stand

The property is a bit old, but maintained beautifully

One good thing about these older properties is that the rooms will really be rooms (spacious) instead of the closets and cupboards under the stairs that newer hotels pass of as rooms

There is a replica of a canon in front of the Fort

The front office staff are helpful and genuinely happy to help

The linen and towels were fresh

The toilets were neat

They provide complimentary breakfast, in their in house restaurant Malabari (of a different management it seems). The food is good and has decent selection including traditional south indian, corn flakes, milk, bread and bread for those who prefer otherwise

There is a bar attached

The greatest advantage is the humongous parking area

At least 30 cars can be accommodated comfortably if need arises

A gracefully aging Fort

I don't understand the negative reviews. The hotel was clean, has a good location and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was simple, but good. Traveled with family, took 2 rooms, and faced friendly and energetic staff all the time.
