We stayed for a night on 5 Jan 2020, hotel is okay for the money we paid, location is good most of the attractions are in walking distance from this hotel.
Only concern is ventilation and the smell because of that.

Pocket friendly 

Ruined our trip. worst hotel I have visited. Very poor management and service they have. I have all kinds of proof of their carelessness. They are only worried to fill-up their rooms because of location. Otherwise there is no meaning to choose this hotel.

Very poor management and service

As the name suggests its a pleasure to stay at PLEASANT INN  which is located at a footstep of exciting places of Pondicherry.Well behaved staff, affordable price, good environment, near to famous french colony as well as Adyar Anand Bhavan (restaurant).Interior of the room was very well cleaned .in short it is the heart of white town.

The room was not at all worth, it's bit dark with no lighting, similarly AC wad not working at night, tv remote as well.On the other hand the hotel was in the mid of market, can't drive car in the streets of market. Parking also a problem. Breakfast as simple. Driving was horrible to get the car out of that area.

A good bet. Its pretty clean and decent for a budget hotel. Large room and toilet. The service is not great and hope they can improve. Reception is good and friendly. Breakfast sucks. Hope it can be improved. Both the presentation and quality. Location is not too bad too. I think the main driver is cleanliness and the price

Good enough to be pleasant

**Things I liked:

Location: Excellent,Very near to Rock beach and French colony

Check in/out: Very smooth

Room Size: I stayed in deluxe room, room size was good and it was clean

Bathroom: Very neat and clean, hot/cold water running.

Food: I did't try as there are many shops near by where we can go and have food.

I was attended by a guy name Satya, he was very nice.

**Dislike: 

Switches are not good, I faced problem for mobile charging.Front desk  Staff are not much friendly. 

Overall good budget hotel, Will recommend.

Clean and Well Located

In one word our stay here was "pleasent". For the price and as the hotel is in a great location we where very pleased. We moved here after being dissapointed by the low standard and dirtyness of another nearby Inn.

We came here first thing in the morning and reserved a 3 man room, telling the reception we would come to check in at 12 noon. We arrived just after 12 with our baggage and where made to wait 15 minutes before checking in. The staff where kinda rude and dismissive. The check in prossess was long and most things seamed pointless. Everywhere else we've been I've been able to do the whole check in for myself and my 2 friends however here they insisted my friends wrote down their own names and passport numbers.
We where then told to wait another 15 minutes for the room to be cleaned. This was annoying as we had made sure they knew we where coming beforehand.

When we where finally shown to our room we where pleased. It was large and clean with 4 single beds although there are only 3 of us. The ensuit was also a good size with hot water and soap was provided. There was no toilet roll. There where no towels but we called reception and they brought us 3.

The beds where comfortable, however I couldn't sleep at all due to the VERY noisy fan. We where in a non-AC room as we always are; the temperature of the room using just the fans was good however just so loud, I don't know why this is.

We had breakfast included in our booking, we went for the continental, however, a hotel worker came and told us we had opted for "bread and jam". None of us had ever talked to the hotel and chosen this so how they had our 'option' we don't know. They allowed us to eat our plates of contenental anyways which tasted okay. The breakfast we where given however consisted of 4 pieces of dry bread and a singular packet of jam. Not impressed.

Allover I would recommend staying here, but don't have the breakfast. Also be warned that the hotel staff are not the most friendly and will, without fail, always address the male of the group which I also find was rude. 


Clean and nice; but staff are rude 

It is cwntrally located and very close to good restaurants, beach, Aurobindo ashram and shopping areas.

Rooms are clean and decent sized but do not have any natural light or ventilation.

Breakfast is not a buffet but something that hotel gets from outside as there is no restaurant in the hotel and quality was pathetic and attitude of staff was not enthusiastic. 

There is no parking area and only street parking is available. Overall we found the place to be average and for the price there are other options in the area.

City centre hotel

It's all AC rooms are too good....Breakfast complimentary is also good.....Taste is also good. Moreover Hotel is quite budget hotel and staffs are good....if someone requires near Rock Beach we can opt for this hotel.


Nice location hotel

(English bellow) Overall, it was a good stay. The rooms are spacious and clean. It's not too hot, the ventilators are adjustable. But the reception is really neglected and the staff is not at all friendly. They do the strict minimum! When you ask a question, you really feel disturbed. The Indian breakfast is not bad. It was generally a good stay. The rooms are clean and spacious. It's not too warm inside because there are fans that we can adjust. But the reception was absolutely not warming. The staff were not pleasant at all. When we wanted to ask a question, it was like we were disturbing the man at the reception. Indian breakfast was nice.
