We were actually skeptical to stay in this hotel especially after reading all the reviews.  However, what happened was totally a good experience. I think the management or the manager has changed which has brought a good impact on this place. We took family room and double bedroom for my parents .The whole place as such was clean and good. The room (family room) was very spacious and the beds were too good that our kids enjoyed the high bed onto which we climb with the help of a stool , like in palaces. The heritage and the wooden ambience added a homely feeling and the staff were also very friendly and prompt in room service. House keeping was sent twice a day for cleaning and laundry was done very well. We enjoyed the stay since the hotel had easy access to the market, Beach, White Town, churches .. all in walkable distance. Food was good in total I would say , the stay costed us less for what they offered us. It's the best choice for such an affordable price.

Good Experience after the Revamp

Rooms and bathrooms are unclean. Mattesses smell like hell. No room service, even basic amenities are missing. They deny online booking saying that rooms are already booked while they are open to provide rooms directly at much higher prices. In the evening, their entire staff is drunk aqnd shouting. Definitely a big no to this place. Very rude staff.

Worst hotel to stay. Rooms are old, bathroom fittings are old & leaking all the time. No room services. And they are charging 2000 Rs for one room. Only good thing is the location, because its near to the main beach all other things are worst. Please avoid this hotel..

Bathrooms not clean. No cleaning of rooms or bathrooms. Not at all safe. Full payment collected in advance. It is cheeting. No provision for coffee or tea.  Never select this if you have any other option.

Horrible bathrooms and no roim service

This place is haunted we could sense some paranormal activities as soon as we enter the room. Plz dun go to this place avoid night stay specially. Not recommended for families 

Bathrooms are unhygienic, pathetic sevice, its basically a hub for ghosts and not a place for humans.Something is not right over there.

Haunted Surya Heritage

The place was conveniently located. The room looked good too. But the bathroom was horrible. There was a dead lizard floating in the water collected in the bathtub. The next morning we ordered for breakfast at 8am. Till 12 noon there was no sign of the order and neither did room service answer the bell. We went down to the restaurant, there was no one there. We went out for brunch and checked out upon our return. 
The reception had taken a deposit the previous night when we checked in and they were reluctant to refund the money saying that we had booked for more days. 
This place is avoidable. For the amount that you pay here you can get an AC room in a much better hotel.
