Hotel is very good.
There are good veg restaurants close by.
Easy to reach the hotel.
Enough car parking available .
It may be better to book room in advance. 
Almost all temples are close by.
Have stayed there multiple times 

Good place to stay during pilgrimage 

All facilities are good except the wi-fi part (not easy to login thru their wifi password and signal is too poor).  Some of the switch boards were loose.  However apart from these 2 all good and the place is absolutely fine for a short trip

Good

Drove to Kumbakonam for temple visits. Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. Booked the premium room. Good location and hence easy accessability to temples. Rooms are clean and spacious. Ample parking space/ There is a veg restaurant Hotel Murari within the premises but no room service is available. Food was good. 

Plesant stay

For a family function we, 3 adults, stayed in this hotel for 3 days and 2 nights.. from June03 to June 05,2022. Main advantage for us was, this hotel is next to function hall.
Room was clean and spacious for 3 adult's stay. As usaul in all hotels, here also bath tap, camode flush are leaking, wastage of water can be avoided, if properly maintained.

Another advantage in this hotel is Murari restaurant and sweet stall, much famous and generation old sweet makers n sellers. We hadbgood coffee and tiffin.

Main disadvantage in Thangavilas Inn-- their room service starts at 7.00am. If you want coffee or tea at 6.00am, you have walk 250 meters  on road, to go to nearby kiosak for tea or coffee. It was irritating and disappointing. Since this is a temple town, most visitors like to start early to visit nearby temples and thay have to walk to nearby tea or coffee shops I was told by another aged couple who came along with me to nearby coffee stall. that this is happening from the beginning and many hotel gusets complained about this to hotel receptionists, but no improvement.

Then House keeping--, I stayed in Kumbakonam in another nearby hotels many times and they all routinely clean the room when we leave for our temple visits or meetings.  But here in Thangavilas Inn, it seems, if and only if we insist, they clean the room,.

These above 2 points are disadvantage.

Average priced hotel,good in that pruce category

I have stayed there for 3 days.. all things went well,except outside travels vehicles allowed inside and the behaviors of the drivers are very worst.
Really the hotel authorities SHOULD avoid outside travelers vehicles inside the campus,or if allowed then.m they SHOULD monitor their parking and theor behaviour otherwise regular customers may rethink of this hotel stay again!!!

Hotel is good BUT travels drivers coming here are creating issues to the staying people here

Room is big and comfortable, but no Covid safety measures followed by the employees. Room service is very poor and not available after 8.30 pm. Big parking space and good location for temple visit. Stay was comfortable but Covid safety needs to be improved.

Very spacious room and parking place in a easily accessible place. Taste food in the restaurant murari. Room service was good and responsive and the extra bed was very comfortable. Hotel is situated little away from kumbakonam's busy and congested traffic

Spacious room and nice hotel

The hotel is very well maintained with decent, spacious, clean rooms with good service. The hotel complex has a good open space for vehicle parking. The complimentary breakfast served is good. Also there is a good restaurant in the hotel complex serving good food, snacks and sweets. 

I found this place to be an ideal stay place during the Navagraha Trip.

Good Hotel to stay in Kumbakonam. 

Stayed in this Hotel as Part of Thirunallar Temple Visit. 

Check in :
Such a fast check in by understanding we arrived late and have to visit temple 

Reception staff were pro active when called for pre confirmation.
Called reg transport on the day of arrival also before we reach. 
Appreciate their efforts. 

Location :
Less than 1.5 kilometer from Railway Station and can easily reach by Auto in 10 mins 

Rooms :
Rooms and bathroom were Clean and neat. 
Room was spacious and can accommodate   one or two extra person also with extra beds. 

Hot water was available during morning and evening 

Food :
Breakfast was simple and tasty. 
Four to five combination of food along with bread related items. 

In Same campus there s a restaurant  named Murari .had lunch it was okay. 
Hence make things easy if staying can simply walk and have lunch and dinner 

Parking :
Good amount of parking hence many cars can be parked inside Hotel only. 

Transport Help Desk :
Have used their transport to visit temple. 
Price was nominal .car was neat and clean.

Bit of rash driving which could be avoided as most of them visiting Temple and some small issue might collapse overalls guest plan..
Request management to take action in this regard 

Overall it's Good stay and will prefer when coming back this area.

Good Hotel to stay during Navagraha temple visit 

All I can only say the Room and the Breakfast is good, location is quite central and very close to Chennai silks n other shops:

The Room is lacking all basic amenities, service level must improve, no iron box provided to the rooms, need to call the help desk multiple times to get their attentions.

Other than that overall the stay was good.
