So where do I begin! We stayed at this hotel, first week of Jan. Only good thing was the restaurant staff, and the location of the hotel close to the airport. 

The room we were allotted was small, no natural light, a window outside which lay trash, dimly lit room with few lights functioning, dirty Bedsheet, claustrophobic bathroom. 

The worse came later that night when we spotted a rat, informed the reception after which they placed a sticky pad. The rat danced around all night, carefully avoiding the trap. Thus we couldn't sleep well. And there were roaches too.

Asked for a room change the next day. 
This room was bigger, well lit, cleaner, bigger bathroom.  Plus point "no rat, no roaches" Why would you give guests such a horribly located & unclean room in the first place? 

I will not recommend this hotel to anyone because they don't seem to care for guest feedback at all. There is no WiFi in rooms, only in the lobby with a very weak signal, no hot water in the evenings, excuse is we use solar panels. I love Andaman, I will visit again but avoid this hotel. 

The local food is better than what we get at the restaurant, especially sea food but the staff in the restaurant was very courteous & the highlight of our stay. I cannot recall the restaurant managers name, but his service was amazing.

G B Oceania is about 15 minutes drive from the Airport. It has an Annexe wing kind of building which is on slightly different level. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bathrooms are practical. They should have a curtain to divide shower area. Service is quick and staff willing to help. Dining area is large enough, but the lobby is bit small and can get crowded. There is a network issue in Andamans hence internet is available at lobby only.Food is basic but taste is good.

Port Blair, Andamans

The hotel is location wise good as it is near the Airport. The rooms were big with all amenities. I loved it. Lift needs battery back since during the power cut the lift smashes horribly. All the staff are very nice and cooperative and give very fast service, specially rishi, manager.

Awesome stay with family

The Hospitality and the Support Staff really deserves 5 star. The food and the rooms were totally good. I'd recommend everyone to book this hotel if they are visiting Port Blair anytime near.

Best hotel in Port Blair

Great experience . Very hospitable and helpful staff who go out of the way to make your stay comfortable. Convenient location as it's only minutes away from everywhere!
Kitchen staff are willing to try new recipes and experiment with the local options available .

Good place to stay with family/couple as the staff is very friendly and cooperative with adhoc requests. 
Super deluxe rooms are better than deluxe rooms. 
Food quality is good but overpriced.

Fantastic place to stay

I had stayed at this hotel in the month of June 19. If your looking for a nice place to stay I would recommend this one. Quite comfortable and the staf is brilliantly very helpful and sweet.

The ladies at the reception to Mr. Rishi @ the restaurant are all really sweet people and are there to help you and give you whatever information you need as a traveller.

You will definitely like to meet Mr. Kishanthan who is a fantastic host. He treats the place like it's his own and takes really good care of the guests. One of the reasons to give this place a 5 rating is because of him and his team.
