Had an amazing time. Rooms were clean. Staff is so supportive and the necessary shops are just minutes away from the location. We stayed there for three days and never faced any issue. Rooms were always clean.

PLEASE NEVER BOOK ANY EVENT/PARTY/WEDDING

Worst Management, No customer support, No staff to look after during the event, Washrooms are dirty, Low quality and cold food, Staff is rude, Have to run after staff to get work done, Manager is totally inefficient (Sachin) to handle operation,not fulfilled the decided Menu in for the marriage.Got small rocks in food. I have experienced this myself and request everyone to please avoid going to this hotel for any occasion.

Wedding Arranged

Very nice ambience, good housekeeping, food is good, worth the budget, friendly staff, time taken in checkin was quite ok...Nice place to relax, specially in Winters. You can relax in the sunny days in hardest of winters

Wonderful ambience

The hotel no doubt is very beautiful and huge. The vintage era furniture and greenery add to the beauty coupled with old decor items and fountain makes it amazing. 

However, the staff needs more training. Some examples are:
1. They served tea with CCD sugar satchet which were very old and might be expired. 
2. Tea was served without spoons to mix the sugar. 
3. Dustbin without garbage bags.
4. They never call for breakfast even though our other family members were informed. 
5. Rooms have cigarette smell and lot of mosquitoes which a nice hotel should not have. 

Historical Hotel With Very Poor Management

I stayed almost 3 days here in this historical hotel. This was built as a residence of Sir Henry Kerr in 1865. The reception/front desk has the archaic colonial feel. The lobby carries the essence of the British legacy. The front desk executive, Deepanshu, was very friendly and polite. The bell-boy, Ravi, was gentle and well behaved.

Historical Place

I travel to Allahabad on work, and when I am not working then there is little to do. Allahabad Regency solves the problem as a they have a pool, grounds to walk out too, a characterful lobby and a bar with some old world charm. Some rooms are duplex and so you can choose to work at two different places! Rooms are clean at an acceptable level. Infrastructure is not top notch. My room curtains were not functional as the pins were broken. They tried to fix it, but not completely. Indian food is okay, nothing to write home about. There is no breakfast buffet, and the options are limited. Staff are a bit rusty, but willing to help. The front desk is helpful and tries to resolve issues to the best of their ability. The best part of the hotel is the pool. It is clean and if a decent size. You cannot do laps, but can swim in a circle for long. Overall, decent hotel and I think I will go back.

When we entered it was a feel like they were waiting us. Warm welcome, energetic attendants, polite, cordial attendants. Space for every need. Close to holy dip at Sangam. Prompt services. Near to many important places.

A cool experience in hot Allahabad

The colonial style architecture when viewed online may seem to be lucrative.

But once you enter the rooms the reallity comes up.

Had a single night stay.Electricity tripping took place around 6-8 times.Ac were not cooling.Staff was not friendly. Food was below average.

Leaking bathroom fittings.

Dont expect much from the hotel !

I like mostly Oyo hotel and this one also good just one thing u have to take your Oyo stuff by asking hotel staff they not giving to by themselves. Lol.otherwise rooms are good AC works properly and friendly staff.
