I stayed with the Hotel for two days with family. Really enjoyed my stay in the Hotel with a beautiful view of the sea Beach from the Room itself. Staffs are well-behaved & courteous, food was homely & very testy. Though there was some repair maintenance work in the other part of the Hotel, there was no such problem at all during our stay.

Good Hotel & highly recommended

So I am very conflicted here. While the hotel condition was pathetic with rats and mold, the fact is that they did advertise that they were in the midst of renovation, which my booking agent missed.

However, the views, location, and food were beyond belief in this small town. Barring the atrocious hotel condition, I enjoyed my short stay here. Beach is across the road, and the shore is 300m away.

Absolute Fraud Hotel. Even the manager sitting there is a part of the hotel scam they are running. Do not go to the website, or any other booking platform to book this hotel. The hotel is absolutely a sham. One part of the hotel is not even there. If you say you have booked from website. The manager will say there is a new website which is yet to be released. If you say you have booked from MMT or any other app. They will say it is not operational at this point of time, MMT was not updated. Basically, there is hotel under this name.

Fraud Hotel. Non existent hotel

I had visited with 7 family members from Mumbai. On reaching the hotel we got to  see that the entire hotel is undergoing renovation. There were filth all across, absolutely dirty. The room given to us ( 4 rooms) were stinky, knobs broken, bathrooms with stains , glasses with stains,  awaiting repairs. We asked for an upgrade to some better rooms but was denied. We were never informed while booking that the hotel is under repairs. The hotel also charged us a bomb. We were to stay here for 3 days atleast but after 1 night stay we changed the hotel. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE.
 


SHODDY EXPERIENCE STAY AWAY FROM PURI BEACH RESORT HOTEK 

The location of the Hotel is really good. The behaviour in the reception initially wasn't that good but later on they managed to be a lot more better. Service is okay but definitely one has to be a lot more careful with belongings as per my experience.
They can always make it better. Overall it was an okayish experience 

It was an okayish experience

We booked this hotel in Dec 2022 for our family of 3. We were surprised on the difference in photos shows in MMT and actual (check photo posted). The view from the room is a small aperture in the window. Worst is the hotel is either into destruction or part construction and full of noise of drills, hammers and chissel-it completely spoiled our stay. There is no swimming pool, all closed, and all areas are full of dust and cement. The walls and rooms are mostly broken. The only respite was there wasa sea shore opp but quite far from Swarga Dwar or the main seashore market, and we had to spent 100/- each time for auto. Strongly recommend not to book this hotel and don't trust MakeMyTrip on what they show online.

Pathetic under construction hotel - with no facilities and loud noise

Very nice hotel opposite to sea Beach , staffs are very good and cooperative . Food quality is good . The rooms are very specious and clean. We had a great time in the in pool.All rooms having good view for the beach .Auto is available near to hotel .

The view only worth and nothing more than that. Once it was a nice resort and really good food with good service. They upgraded themselve with a pool, which they charge 100 bucks for an hour with zero maintanace. If somebody uses the pool he/she will have a good company of frogs and tadpole. I have visited many resorts but I had never heard such norms. If I ignore the pool because I got the sea but the maintanace of the room or the props are very poor. They provide service girls and all are locals. So, the problem is the language. They understand only Oriya. The next big blunder is their quality and hygine of food according to the price. Just a single point which is attractive is all rooms are sea view and that was awesome and nothing more than that.

Positive Points: Location and Food 

Negative Points:

1. AC was not working in the room from very beginning...they fix it and told us not to switch-off AC until checkout.

2. Dirty furniture, ill maintained walls, and unhygienic toilet

3. Hotel charges Rs. 100 per head for boarders to use Swimming Pool...this is the first-time I faced it

4. Water bottle is not available...service boy requested us to provide the Water bottles

5. Overall, it was a dirty, unhealthy, and unhygienic stay

Ill Maintained Hotel with Unhygienic Toilets and Shabby Rooms

I booked an AC Superior room for March 04th. At time of check-in, i was given a lousy, non-AC, filthy room with a dirty bathroom, torn curtains, unbelievably cheap bed and bath Linen. I walked out of the hotel and checked in at the classy, excellent and value for money Sterling Puri. MMT owes me a refund, because the Puri Beach resort did not give me the room i had booked on MMT website. Moreover, the reviews and photos ok on MMT website are totally misleading. I took up the matter with MMT. Unfortunately, MMT's Customer Care team is the most dumb, moronish, inefficient team of customer care execs you would find anywhere.
