We booked a room at “Hotel Madhuban” online before arriving to pushkar and soon after arriving the “owner” greeted us.
One day while walking at the market the same person from our hotel bumped into us, pointing out his parcel shipping service shop near by the street and offer us a supposedly good price because we we were staying at his hotel.
Once we finished our shopping and were ready to send a parcel back home we headed to his shop “Shiva courier service” to have it delivered.
Not only he had mention an extra fee/commission only after the parcel was sealed, but until this day (5 month) we haven’t received our 600$ parcel!
We have contacted him by phone (91 9950192645) and he assured us it is on way but is not answering his phone since.
We also asked about it in a Facebook group and were contacted privately by someone saying we are not the first victims of this shop.

I am sorry for postponing writing this review, hopefully not to many travelers fell victim to his “service”. I hope travelers would read this review and that other people speak out against such frauds openly.

Scammed by the manager: stolen parcel

This hotel was the worst we stayed in so far. The room and the bathroom were dirty and had ants. The shower wasn't working. The whole room smelled of mould. The pool couldn't be used and the wifi was working for about 5 minutes. The breakfast that was included consisted of two slices of burnt toast and butter for which we waited almost an hour. In the end we got charged more than it said on our booking confirmation and the owner was very rude about it and generally very unfriendly. Wouldn't recommend this hotel at all!
