Love the place where this hotel is situated. I go there every year. Right in-front of your room is a mesmerising view- you just cannot take your eyes off it!  
Highly recommended!!! Go with your friends or family. 
They have helping staff and food is also great.

Moksha is a good boutique hotel with good views of the snow clad mountain ranges ⛰ . Cottages are basic in nature with semi luxurious interiors and are neat & clean with good attached washrooms. 

Only Mountain view cottages offer the views of the mountain from the room. Other cottages are facing the valley & have limited views from room. 

There is lot of open space, which is rustic in nature, to sit around & relax and have their meals in a natural surrounding

I liked it very much because of the view of the mountains it offers.  

This place is built on a small hill top and hence has inclined slop to reach the rooms and Cafe/ resturant.  It may not be convenient for people who have problem while walking,  specially on an inclined uneven surface

It is definitely a good stay for younger lot who love nature, for an outing with their family & friends

Shoutout to the Moksha team amazing food and service. People who wants to experience nature and peace should definitely visit this place. Mr. Dhruv is very supportive and excellent human being. Nice clean and cosy rooms. Staff is very helpful. The Himalayan peaks are amazing to watch from room. A must visit place in almora

Amazing stay

We booked the hotel as per the reviews given and to our surprise all were 5*. Once we went there the reality was all together different. The rooms were in a pathetic condition especially the valley view standard rooms. They were poorly lighted  and the bathroom was just another level. No ventilation, poorly lite and few creepy crawly creatures , here and there. The food cost was exorbitant with very average taste. The pathway for the entrance and parking area was pathetic . Caution ppl with leg problem shouldn’t even think of booking this hotel. The stairs leading to the room was of 1feet width. Do not go by the pictures given on the site. The Himalayan view cottages could be ok but the valley view cottages were just pathetic. Since there was no electricity previous nite , standard room bathroom didn’t had any hot water. The mattresses were very hard and uncomfortable. When we entered the room it was dirty with dirty linen n pillows. The deluxe cottage was little better than this. I had a horrible experience and don’t wish to come back .This property  could be ok for bachelors but not at allfamilies and couple.

Pathetic

I made this property my home, standing true to its name “Moksha” or salvation in Hinduism. If you take the rooms here, you’ll wake up to the glorious sight of mount nanda devi right infront of you, they are also building a stoned pathway where you can sit and brood while you watch the sun set… a great place to unwind… the manager Dhruv is a great caring person who is always willing to help you out with any of your needs 

Therapeutic 

The location may seem delightful with a cafe and all, but, there are vicious dogs on the premises. I was attacked and bitten 5 times by 2 large Alsatian dogs. I had chunks taken out of my flesh and will be scarred for life.

Had a wonderful stay at Moksha, Himalayan range view are mesmerizing from rooms, staff is very cooperative & humble. Food served was very good. I must recommend this place as a perfect gateway from our busy schedules.  I will certainly visit again for sure

Best Vacation Ever

The property is located in Almora (Kasar Devi) and is well connected with Binsar-Almora road.

The panoramic view of the mountains and splendid view of Almora valley from the property are breathtaking. 

The property major facilities include - drive in, parking within near premises, multi-cuisine restaurant, room service, bonfire etc. 

The staff members at the property are very polite and courteous. They are very prompt and get all the things done at earliest. 

Best part is the quality and amazing taste of food. The property serves delicious food that keeps you more happy throughout the stay.
 
Special gratitude to the host and the manager - Mr. Dhruv Sinha, who is very helpful and approachable.
It actually was a beautiful rewind and pleasure to be served by such welcoming staff members.

A beautiful and comfortable mountain property - The Moksha Retreat!

It was my first visit to Kasar Devi and I stayed in The Mokhsha Retreat, managed by Dhruv Sinha. It is situated in perfect yet less explored area, giving you wonderful morning view of wide mountain range and clear sky. Designated tower to enjoy sun rise and sun set. Place is well connected to Almora and Binsar. We didn’t have any conveyance issue in to and fro.

Rooms: nice spacious and bright room, well designed bathroom. Cleanliness was unquestionable. 
Open area: beautifully decorated and musical open area where you get bonfires at minimal expense. Enjoy the view with the wind and sun light.
Food: honestly speaking the food we had in Moksha retreat is the tasty food from all my trips to hills. Being it a snack item or main course the quality, quantity and the taste is I can say Ek Number 👌🏻 
Must try item: Tabdoori momos, Kadai Chicken.

Staff: Very polite, quick at service and understanding local people. You wouldn’t mind giving out few extra tenders as their tip. They deserve it. They make you stay comfortable, they make sure you get the food fresh and on time.

Trip to remember @ Moksha Retreat 

We had  an amazing stay in "The Mokasha Retreat". Lovely location, delicious food, great and helpful staff, they made our stay memorable and comfortable. They took care of us from the moment we arrived, it made our experience extremely pleasurable not having to worry where to go. 

The best part of this hotel was FOOD. Whatever we ordered was ready in minutes and was delicious. 

I'll be revisiting the place for sure. I recommend you all to must visit this property and feel the great adventure and experience I had.
