As  first of all hotel management had upgraded our rooms from deluxe to duplex. Also they provided us food according to our choice. Services are awesome well behaved staff . The View from rooms was awesome . One who loves nature had must to visit here.The flowers are very marvelous.

Great  hospitality with nice food.

The property is a bit far from the town but the views from the rooms are to die for . There are a few steep steps to be walked down from the parking , so a caution for senior citizens . Look for rooms on the upper level for excellent views . We had a family room with a loft sleeping for extra 2 people . The view from our room balcony was to die for . We had breakfast sitting in the balcony and it was a serene experience. 

The food served was good .

Nice property with amazing views

We booked 3 rooms and all of them were pathetic.
Switch bords were broken.
Construction material is lying on the site as the property is under construction.
Stray dogs were roaming about.
Very bad room condition.
Ceiling is damaged.
Smell of dampness.
Very small bed size.
No wifi.
Old or second hand furniture placed in rooms.
No room service.
No intercom.
No restaurant.
No geyser.
No basic amenities like soap, tooth past, kettle, etc were available.
Plastic taps were used & which were leaking.
No views from any room

Pathatic

Stayed in month of June 2022 with family. 
Pros : 
1. Breath taking view of the Valley and Sunrise... Can spend entire day just sitting in the balcony sipping hot tea and still will not get bored... 
2. Family rooms are excellent for 4 people to stay very comfortably 
3. At a great location, near to local attractions.... 
4. Very good and helpful staff... always smiling and attentive 
Cons : 
1. Limited Buffet Spread... Can include more options especially Kids friendly ones 
2. Wait time for hot water which is absolutely essential considering the cold weather is around 15 mins which I feel can be easily addressed by installing solar panels...

Great option for family stay

We, group of 8 with kids, stayed for a nigh in family room, the overall stay was great. Rooms  were neat and clean and family room was spacious enough for a family of 4. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Morning sunrise from room was just fabulous ! The dinner buffet and breakfast were decent too.

Great family stay

We stayed for two nights.i had booked super deluxe room and the hotel upgraded us.i was happy and thankful but as i entered the room it gave me a chill because upgraded room was not upto the mark.The photos of the rooms on the app were obviously fluffed and the room was nowhere near as was shown in the pics.I could not even imagine what the room we had booked originally would have looked like.Our upgraded room was smelly because of moisture and fungus.The hotel tried to hide the fungus with wooden mats on wall but it was useless as the mat had turned black due to fungus.The balcony gave us little relief as the view was good but nothing good can be added about the hotel room and maintenance.The room had bad looking very outdated beds,broken doors,fungus infested mats,broken geyser,broken door handle,broken toilet jet handle.Apart from this,the power was cut on 29th april for the whole night.when i asked next morning they said they didnt have generator fuel.I paid amount in full for the amenities including electricity but we spent the night in total blackout and they simply get to get away with such petty excuse .we were 4 people and booked in total 4 rooms for 2 nights and If your service is not upto
the mark then you have no right to charge us the amount for the amenities you have not provided and i should get the refund for the inconvenience.Also one more ridiculous thing was they charged around 250rs for 2 rasgullas ,that too was not prepared by the hotel and served out of the prebought container of rasgullas.I call it bad service

Bad por hotel rooms and service

We spent a night at this Resort and in general, had a good time. The rooms are spacious, well ventilated and the big attached Varanda in front to see the grandeur of the Himalayas make this resort exclusive. The service was good for dinner, but morning breakfast was not so well organised (may be due to lack of staff). The wash room had 24 hours hot water facilities, but need maintenance, as some of the fixtures were broken and water was leaking from the flush. Positive part is the provision for Driver's stay and food, which is must for any tourist destination.

Excellent Location and View

This place is way below the standards of a 3-star hotel - it is more of a 2-star.
The Deluxe Room provided to me was extremely dirty, dusty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. Everything from the bathroom to bed linens to walls were dirty and gave off a bad smell.
Food in the buffet was just average. Buffet service was unprofessionally managed and didn't start on time.
The only good things for this property are its location , the great sunrise views from the terrace and the excellent responsiveness of the staff.

2 Star, Unprofessionally Run Property

This was a very decent trip. Staff was very courteous. Food was awesome. Rooms were beautiful. We ended trip with beautiful memories. The view of sunrise from the rooms were worth watching. Do not miss this place at Kausani.

Must visit

A very good place to stay and my ratings cover the aspects like - rooms, hygiene, food, hospitality, view, etc. 
Note :- ‘Bablu Chandra’ and the other staff members were amazing in their hospitality !!
