The place is absolutely stunning. We booked 3 rooms and our stay was quite relaxing.
Apart from mesmerising view 0f Trishul peaks from the room and gallery the place offers a warm and cozy feeling. The rooms are minimalistic with a native charm. 
The portico garden is very well maintained and overall ambiance is worth spending time.
The hotel staff is very helpful and courteous.
Do not expect too much from food since options are limited to basic Indian cuisines.

Stunning views with cozy stay

It is a awesome place to stay, Went on 17 July 2022, Had a 2nights stay, Excellent view from the rooms, could see Himalayas from the room itself. Good food and service. Not to mention the garden with numerous flowers and fruits.

Good Location, Great view

Eco Lodge Kausani is one of the resorts in a chain built up by Chevron group in Uttrakhand.
The promotional tag line for Eco Lodge is that it has been built keeping in mind the least interference and damage to the environment. The building is constructed of local slate and flat rocks using mud as binding material with mud plaster. Use of mortar or cement has been minimal or not at all. They have tried as much as possible to faithfully follow the Koti Banal type of architecture used in Uttrakhand. The lodge looks like many houses in Kausani and surrounding rural areas. This style is included even for what serves as a dining hall which looks like a roadside shack open on three sides. 
Fortunately, bathrooms have modern facilities. Even the electrical switches are also from an era long past and not to be seen anymore in contemporary houses.
Light posts have an independent solar panel. 
The location of Eco Lodge is excellent with a panoramic view of the Himalayan Ranges with Nanda Ghunti and Trishul peaks clearly visible. This happens only if there are no clouds, no haze or smog. This is a big "IF" as in our two-night stay we had a really good and clear view of Nanda Ghunti and Trishul peaks only on the last day as we were checking out. Other times the peaks looked hazy and taking clear photos was not possible. The grounds and lawns are very well maintained. Plenty of flowering, medicinal and exotic plants. One can take away saplings for their own gardens.
After staying there I feel that they have gone overboard with local architectural style. We were given room number 103. I found that the room was quite dark. there was no natural light. The room appeared dam and musty. No cross ventilation.  I did not like it luckily there were other rooms available and I opted for, I think room 102 which was slightly better.
The staff was helpful and courteous.
The food was nice.
Positives for Eco Lodge, Location, Staff, the grounds and food. 
A big negative, the rooms on the ground floor are dark without natural light, stuffy and dampish.No comments about first floor rooms or duplex as did not have a look at them.

Rooms should have bee etter.

Great place for amazing Himalaya view 
Great Estate manager Mr Acharya who is very friendly and takes care of your stay with personal attention.
The duplex rooms are best for family where kids would really enjoy the stay

Amazing place in Kausani

We stayed there with friends for two days on 13 & 14 January and would like to summarise as below :

1) The location of the  property is out of the world..with the snow covered   mountain ranges opposite the property..

2) The rooms and room service were top notch..

3) The food quality and service were excellent..
And the staff was excellent alaways ready to help..

Highly recommended property to relax and unwind..

Excellent Place to stay!!

Wonderful heritage property situated around 2km far from kausani market. It's having mesmerising view , great Hospitality , helpful staff ,delicious food and clean rooms . Arrangement of bonfire at night was awesome . 
Will surely recommend this proprty for comfortable stay at Kausani .

Wonderful stay and enjoyed a lot with my family. Must visit whenever you are in Kausani. Great location 👌humble staff and good food. I must recommend this property to my friends and family members. I m visiting their other hotels ad well. 

Nice Homely Stay

Revisited Chevron Eco Lodge last month and experience was much better than last visit. Perfect destination with family. Kids were feeling like own home. All staff are so caring about kids. The taste of foods are like home made.
Excellent scenic view of Himalaya from lawn. I would like to visit again and again this place.

I visited here Last week..the stay was pleasant..saff was polite and cooperative..rooms were clean.. the scenic view was beautiful, i can see the Himalyas which was the piece of a cake to eyes..In all it was an excellent stay..I'll surely refer it my friends. Pleasant Stay

i with my family stayed at Chevron Eco Lodge in august, stay was excellent and weather was also very good. it was drizzling and enjoyed the rain a lot. 
hotel location is very good with Himalaya view, good food, humble staff. overall we enjoyed a lot good place for family. i stayed with them at nainital as well
