For me and my wife, this vacation was kind of not that great as my 1.5 years old son fell sick with high fever. But our stay at Atithi Parinay was really like a home, with a caring Vasudha Aunty looking after everything that we needed for our son and for our 9 years old daughter. homely food which was timely, delicious and perfect for us and for kids too. Apart from everything else, the love and affection that we received here was simply awesome. My daughter has got one more grand mother now, as she says..!

We were treated like their own family and not just as guests who paid for 3 nights. Asmita Didi and other staff were locals from the place, and they also were so nice to us and took a real good care of all of us and provided us with everything that we wanted. They all really convinced us to see the doctor for our son. Initially we were hesitant because he was not a pediatrician. But we listened to them and it was a right decision for us. 

Doing a homestay business is one thing but giving that homely experience is the thing we look for always. For us, it was not a homestay, but it was a real home.

Starting from we leaving our house till leaving from Atithi Parinay, we all were looked after with care. There was a continuous communication between me and Medha. Medha and Vasudha Aunty both were simply awesome.
I would definitely recommend this place, specially if you are planning your trip with your kids.

Perfect blend of Vacation and Home experience, filled with lots of love, care and affection

We stayed at Atithi parinay during Diwali of 2021. 
I must say it is an ultimate place if you are really looking to get away for complete relaxation. The place is surrounded by greenery and sitting by the small stream running by the side of this homestay is probably the most relaxing experience you can ask for. 
The food was homely and wholesome. Though those wanting to eat fish might have to explore options in the nearby Ratnagiri as Atithi parinay does not serve nonveg food. The rooms were spacious and were perfect combination of old school and modern aesthetics. The host Medha and her mom are sweet and took good care of us. 
You also can spot a lot of birds around the property. 
I would definitely recommend this place for those who want to be truly close to the nature.

A place for nature lovers!

Set in dense forests and still maintaining the urban hospitality, Medha and her team gave us an absolutely enjoyable stay during November 2021.
The cottages were beautifully decorated and the food was absolutely sumptuous! The best homestay that we ever lived in

Warm, kind and most hospitable homestay

Atithiparinay was my rural dream come true, without losing the urban comforts.... The place is amidst plantations of mango, betelnut, coconut, Kokum, jaam (and many other trees whose names I cannot recollect). The green and tranquil surroundings can instantly put you in a peaceful frame of mind. 

We saw many exotic birds on the property whose names I don't know (a small blue bird, a black and bright orange coloured bird, a furry bird... Our host Medha told us that the property has around 30 species of birds). In fact, mornings were all about resting on the armchair, listening to myriad bird calls and watching leaves rustle and sway in rhythm. We played badminton, cricket and chilled on hammocks watching the soothing greenery around. 

The food here needs a special mention. It was simple yet flavourful vegetarian food; and eating it in the dining area surrounded by trees was such a treat! The property is within a 5km radius of the Aare Waare beaches. So our evenings were sorted! Medha arranged for an expert to accompany us when we stepped out to see "Petroglyphs", which are very near to the property. Getting an opportunity to to see 12000 year old stone age carvings (that too with an acheaologist) was a highlight of the trip. What a holiday!

Atithiparinay: Trees and Tranquility!

It was a spur of the moment trip , a first road trip with our furry family member , naturally we were apprehensive about his long hours in the car , then how he would adjust to the new place . However right from the first interaction with the host Medha,  we felt completely at ease , and could feel that this would be a food stay. And what a stay it was ! Right from our cottage nestled in the banana plantation , in the midst of a small spice garden , with a small rivulet behind . The delicious breakfast and meals all were traditional Maharashtrian dishes , made with organic ingredients many of which from the farm itself , and often served on a banana leaf .The homestay is very conveniently located from many famous sightseeing places like Ratnagiri Town,  Ganpatipule temple , the splendid Aare Ware Beach and many more .we also were taken by the host to the Mangrove forest , and were surprised to see atleast 4 to 5 species of them ,it was a revelation how much they give to us , and how we are just decimating them specially in our ever expanding coastal cities .we are very thankful to Medhaji her mother and entire team for giving us a unforgettable stay . I can say for sure ...We will be back for more !

Truly a home away from home

I stayed at Atithi Parinay for a couple of nights. I had a great time. The place is really nice and peaceful. It’S located perfectly if you want to explore the region. The meals there are a culinary experience.

Lovely place, great food, fantastic experience

We happened to find Atithi Parinay Stay through Yuyiii. We were looking for Secluded Homestays in Konkan.

Our intent was to find a peaceful place nested deep within nature, where we could unwind away from the daily rut. Medha's ancestoral Paradise is all of that and much more.

The homes are clean and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. Medha herself is an architect/interior decorator and a spirited host. All houses are tastefully designed retaining the indigenous construction styles. 

I feel one of the highlights is the river that flows alongside the property. It makes for a beautiful sight and also attracts different species of birds. You will be tempted to just stay at the property and relax in the hammocks. 

If you wish to venture out there is the magnificent coastal road starting from Aare Vare beach upto Jaigad! It has breathtaking views from various heights as the Konkan terrain takes you from one pleatue to another. 

For those who would like to dabble in History, there are some unbelievable stone art sights of our ancestors from 10,000 to 20,000 years before. They are slowly getting discovered and we were lucky the Medha put it in touch with the very person playing a huge role in protecting these historic sites.

If this was not enough, every meal has a local flavour which is simple and satiating! We had a very pleasant stay and made great friends with Medha. Thank you for striving hard to make it comfortable and enjoyable for us.

We wish to come again to try pottery, swim in the river and explore more of the mystery that Konkan is.

Relaxing, Rejuvenating and a Tryst with History

One of the best place to stay in Konkan, the place is large and very quite, it also has great nature around it, overall it’s very well maintained. Food they provide also very testy and homely, the location of the place is such that you can go all places near ganpatipule easily, you will surly find peace of mind here, lastly owner of this place Ms Medha have built this place very well, takes good care of all guests, you feel like at home. Must visit place, looking forward to go again 👍

Very good place

I visited Atithi Parinay for the second time in one year. This is the charm of the place that it calls you back again and again. This place is full of positive vibes and peaceful serene nature. This time I got to meet the host ‘Medha’ & made a new friend in her. She is a superb fantastic host with such a vibrant personality & warm nature. She has created this place taking into consideration evry small requirements of the guests & her hospitality really makes you feel at home. She also guides you about the unexplored beautiful places to visit around. The river flowing by the the property is the icing on the cake. One more highlighting factor is the awesome yummy and nutritious natural food we get here. Its one of the best I have ever eaten. 
The location is accessible very easily and it is very close to major attraction places in Konkan. Overall, this place is value for money and you can stay here for long time in the lap of nature. This place gives you everything you need for a holiday. Best locations, peace of mind, relaxation of body and many beautiful memories to cherish for lifetime. I will of course again visit it as many times I can and I would strongly recommend this place for short term as well as long term stay. 
Atithi-Parinay as the the name suggests is really a guest’s paradise.

An unforgettable mesmerising experience!!

I visited this place with my family and absolutely loved my time here .. it is a place where one will surely connect with nature, away from the everyday hustle of the city.. it has beautiful cottages, a river and much more. You can read books, watch birds or just relax... I would reccomend it for anyone who wants some peace and wants to get rejuvenated 😌😌 the food here is also amazing and the host Medha is a wonderful person ! She is so welcoming and makes you feel at home...😌 
An awesome place hidden in the interiors of Ratnagiri, I reccomend it for anyone whose looking for a nice home stay in the lap of nature 😌🌴
