Very nice hotel in Central Tiruppur with good ambiance & friendly staff. Rooms were quiet decent & food was of top quality.
Special mention to appreciate housekeeping staff & front office Guna who personally called me after check out to return my mobile phone found in the room.
Definitely recommended for regular travellers to Tiruppur.

I checked into the Hotel Poppys, Kumaran Road, Tiruppur -641 601 recently .  Previously , it was Hotel Vikram, and I uded to be a regular customer at that Hotel and the tariff was for 24 hours on;ly .
 Now, it has been taken over by Poppys group .

I checked into the hotel at 9.30 pm and paid Rs.3225 as one day rent . The next day around 11.50 noon , I received a call thru' intercom to vacate the hotel , since one day over . I was in a meeting and after the meeting, I called them back to say that I have checked in only in the last night around 9.30 pm and I could stay till 09.30 pm that day .

But, he said this is the 12 noon check out hotel and I should pay one more day rent .
I went to the reception and argued with them that they didn't tell me when I booked .Had I known that it is a 12 noon check out hotel, I would not have stayed there, because my train was in the night . 

Also, there is no VISIBLE board to inform that that is a 12 noon check out hotel . He showed me a big board with small small  letters with dos and don'ts  instructions of the hotels. It was not prominently and I was also not informed when booking . They insisted that I should ay one more day rent till 7 pm .

It was a very unpleasant experience and I was made to look like a fool and then after much persuasion , they came down to charge half day rent of Rs. 1650.

So, from a night at 9.30 om till the next day 7 pm, ( 22 hours )  I had to pay Rs.4875 / = to this Poppys Hotel. It was like a day time robbery and I just could not digest that exorbitant charge of Rs. 4875 /= for a single night .

Dear friends, please beware of these hidden charges by certain hotels like Poppys and ensure that you are paying for 24 hours .

OverCharging Hotel

Widely spaced, cared for, attended to. Great rest. Great food. Fabulous walking areas. Superb location for those driving in or out. Clean, functioning seamlessly, staff are helpful in a friendly manner. Stay here, if using road transport into or out of Coimbatore.

Well-hidden gem.

Hi big property, parking in front of ur room. But no quality staff, so inexperience staff makes your stay bitter. No lockers in room. Also bed linen very rough , seems being using past long years. Can’t sleep on such linen. 
Got to know the onwer runs garment factory in Tirupur and is big name. 
But sorry sir to say that I made a bad choice.

I did not stay at the hotel but lunch was good at Poppy's. Chicken tikka was delicious with the chicken tender. Punjabi styled chicken gravy was well made and was great to with tandoori roti. Order takes a bit of time but the food is good.

Good food

Room was comfortable and good. But food was okay. Landscaping was good and staff needs some training in terms of customer care. Felt little rude in their approach. Rest all was okay. 

Also food can be better . 

Neat hotel but can be better

Decent hotel, helpful staff, nice location. The breakfast had a wide spread and they acceded to our request of having breakfast early. The only problem we had with this hotel was that the hotel had leased its lawns to a private party on Christmas eve and they were very noisy. We had a long and tiring drive from Bangalore and wanted to hit bed early to have an early start to Munnar. The hotel staff said they were helpless and hence we could not sleep till about 1 AM. The hotel should look into such aspects for traveller comfort.

I spent one night in this hotel. My room was an apartment. There was plenty of room in the room. The bed was good. In each room there was air conditioning. The walls are dirty. It crawled two thousand feet on the room. In the evening we were in the restaurant in fine white. It tasted good. The breakfast was fine.

Normal 3* hotel with highs and lows

Chose this place as a stopover on the way to Ooty.  It was well located in a beautiful garden.  Rooms were comfortable and modern.  The restaurant way very fine with good Indian food.  Stsff were very helpful and kind.  Would strongly recommend.

Excellent Stopover

Stayed for 1 night in this hotel. Little away from the highway, the hotel rooms are pretty spacious and clean. the staff were also very nice. The food was good. The breakfast was very nice. Nice hotel to stay.
