This place is absolutely amazing the pool area is spotless clean the views from pool area are amazing everyone is so friendly, there's a small Cafe on site serving food and drinks but limited opening times. The rooms are amazing comft beds and pillows loved my bed so comfy
Close to shops and beach only one thing let's hotel down is no pool bar once café shuts at 4 can't get a drink

We stayed at this lovely little hotel for 10 nights. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are spotless, a great team of maids look after them. From the moment you step in through the entrance everything is so tranquil and peaceful. Debbie and Snowkon have made this hotel into a perfect little haven.
The attached Bay Tree Cafe is a real bonus. Wonderful coffee and the Pasteis de Nata are delicious. Definitely a place we would like to return to in the future.

Had a fabulous stay, everything was clean run by a lovely family. Watched all the wildlife in the area behind the hotel  had a few days lounging by the pool so peaceful  if ever in Colva again would stay there
The cafe for breakfast was great ate there every day  this was also run by family   a lovely area

Just back from a week's stay at Skylark , a beautiful place ran by a friendly family, great value for money, brilliant location in Colva , will return if I'm ever that way in Goa again , clean tidy rooms , lovely gardens with a well maintained swimming pool , 😃 

This family run resort is tucked away just off the main strip a couple minute walk to the beach. If you want peace and quiet this is the place. The rooms are very clean, we stayed in the bigger family room which had a huge 4 poster bed. There is a large pool surrounded by ample sunbeds. A handy cafe onside serving hot and cold snacks and drinks. Staff can't do enough for you. Would thoroughly recommend 10/10

Came across this local hotel by chance and booked day before. In the heart of Colva but once inside the resort you wouldn't know, so quiet and relaxing.  Resort is lovely, loved the decor and layout. Rooms spacious and very clean. Bed comfortable. Pool great. It is the small details i loved, even the shower at the poolside is made of beautiful Portuguese style tiles. Staff polite and helpful. Owners very helpful and happy to advise on daytrips and organise taxi transfers. Best taxi we had all holiday!  Advised us on reputable moped hire which was great.  We didn't realise there was a pool table and book library we could have used until last day when other tourists told us. Rooms have a great wee fridge that has a.small freezer section to make ice cubes! Truely a gem of a find!

A lovely place for a tranquil stay in Colva. I would highly recommend for a relaxing holiday in the heart of Colva. Beautiful gardens, pool and cafe. Absolutely spotless with delicious home cooked food at the Bay Tree next door. Will definitely return

I almost want to keep quiet about this place so it stays as tranquil as we found it this year.
The pool is fabulous and only open to residents. The family owners keep the place immaculate and there is a lovely little coffee shop (open to non residents) attached. The coffee was the best I drank all holiday and if you fancy a sweet fix, there are delicious cupcakes. The rooms are spotless and smell lovely. The beds are so comfy, with lovely pillows and linens. The owners and  their team are available at all times if you need anything and always smiling. I can't speak highly enough about the Skylark and will definitely be going back.

We stayed at Skylark for eight nights and would recommend the hotel for anyone looking for a welcoming, quiet and comfortable place to stay while in Colva. The Skylark is located a few minutes' away from the beach and is also close to several of the better restaurants in Colva. 

The rooms are cleaned daily by a hard-working  team, are cosy, and also suitable for single occupants.
 The downside is a relatively weak WiFI signal from the room. Other upsides, though, include cupboard space for holiday clothes and tea and coffee-making facilities.
 I do, however, prefer softer lino flooring to the hard floors of the rooms, though I understand that the hard floor makes cleaning easier in a hotel near a sandy beach. 
The hotel also offers a pool, though I didn't use it while staying there. There is also a billiards room and small library of second hand books, mostly paperbacks. 

The pleasant  Bay Tree Cafe in the hotel has  outdoor chairs and tables, and offers a more Englsh and contintental European menu. 
The breakfasts were excellent. We especially liked the French made croissants, toasted sandwiches and coffee.
The owners and staff are very friendly and obliging, and will go out of their way to get you whatever you may need. 
The hotel decor and environments are very attractive. The experience of staying there is relaxing and convivial.
 I'd recommend the hotel to those who may enjoy a more tranquil and laid back holiday experience. 


We had a very relaxing and memorable stay at Skylark. The beach is a few minutes walk. The resort is centrally located. The ambiance is quiet, just like the way we wanted. The rooms were clean and tidy. The poolside was very relaxing. The outdoor restaurant was neat and the food was enjoyable.
All this is personally looked after by Snowkon and his family. We wish the very best to them.
We plan to visit again for a longer duration.
