I would have given this houseboat ten star if possible, we lost our wallet in room while exiting the place but after some while got the call from manager about the wallet then I realized my mistake, we came back and got our wallet back, bestest houseboat in dal lake perfect rooms with superb carpet, all luxurious amenities was provided including mineral water and AC in the houseboat.

I was on trip with my corporate colleagues, including two males and two females, was lil bit worried about our female colleagues stay but staff provided them alternate rooms which was clean and spacious, before checking out owner suggested us the best idea to explore srinagar, thankful to owner for great service.

Great service 

Me and my grandparents booked the property for three night stay, manager of property allotted us one of the best room, view from room was fresh and sightseeing was awesome, breakfast was very tasty, coffee was too classy had top notch stay in sikandra group of houseboat.

Great experience

If I can say my experience in one word it would be awesome, including the food they served to quality of rooms houseboat is very attractive and luxurious, I did stayed in few houseboats before but none of houseboat was this much clean and full of best amenities.

Over the top view

Being a solo traveller it was my first time to srinagar, booked this houseboat from make my trip, had lots of option but i booked it seeing it's decent reviews, I checked in at 10:30 AM, one of the staff shifted me to a room, which was clean and well arranged, with decorative ambiance bedsheet was clean and washroom was too clean, I had seamless times in the houseboat.

One of best experience in Srinagar 

My stay at Sikandara Palace houseboat was a disappointing experience. The staff's behavior was consistently rude and unprofessional, and the service provided did not meet the expectations given the price of the room.

One major issue was their central switch system, which controlled essential amenities like the AC and geyser. The staff frequently switched these off, and we had to repeatedly call reception to have them turned back on. They provided various excuses for not turning on the AC, such as power supply issues or the weather being cool enough.

Our checkout experience was also problematic. We had informed them during check-in that we needed to check out early at 7 am due to a flight to catch. Despite this, we didn't have hot water for a bath, breakfast was served late at 7 am while our driver was waiting, and the boat wasn't called on time, causing delays. When we inquired about these issues, the staff questioned why we had booked a houseboat with a morning checkout and refused to make breakfast arrangements early. They also claimed that using the geyser was a hassle and suggested we take a regular water bath.

Overall, my stay at Sikandara Palace houseboat was marred by rude and unhelpful staff, frequent disruptions to essential services, and a lack of consideration for our early checkout needs.

Worst Stay Experience

Sikandra palace is worth every minute of stay!! it has classy décor, even shikara service is so prompt. I wish to thank Waseem Dandoo @waseemdandoo for making generous offer to us. the staff, chef and services are excellent .

It was a pleasure to stay at this houseboat, friendly staff, courteous owner, good food prepared and served hot, very efficient overall service and neat & clean place. The shikara service to and fro ghat no 17 is well managed by staff. Must visit for all interested in staying at houseboats. Nice view of surrounding in the day and night as well. 

Very good houseboat at Dal lake

The stay and service were very good... Good was excellent.. very tasty and served hot... Mr.iqbql Khan service is very much satisfied.. he was very much helpful... I recommend this.....,......  Both of the staff were very good...,........

Very good 

I stayed one night in this boathouse with my family. I found the heating system in the hotel to be very poor. The boathouse used a portable gas heating system which was on only for 3 hours until 11pm. After that the room becomes too cold and unbearable.  In the morning, when I woke up, the water heater was not functioning.
