One of the most classic property in the area best aerial view,along with different different amenities, it's located close to tulip garden, I had amazing two days and nights staying here, thanking to chef for making special on demand food for me.

Relaxing stay

Awesome Kashmiri people and the Hospitality. The Hotel staff are so kind, special Thanks to Rafiq Bhai, perwez and all the staff.

I was travelling with a baby & elderly Mother  and the hotel took care of them as family, I would suggest people to stay here and have great trip.

Awesome experience

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days. The hospitality here was such that we felt it like our home. It was top notch. Mr Parvez and Mr Aasif made sure that we feel comfortable and all the needs are completed. Breakfast and dinner was included. They served a very delicious food here.
The rooms are cozy and clean. We had the best view from our window. We could see snow capped mountains from our room.
I highly recommend this place for your stay in Srinagar. 10/10 property

Best experience 

Harwan resort is located near to shalimaar garden, a lil bit far from dal lake and that's the speciality of the property, view from room is just fabulous located all across near mountains and river, it's a well maintained property in almost new condition great furnishing, me and my family stayed for four days, all the staff helped us alot. 

Blissful trip of srinagar

Harwan Resort is not a Hotel or resort. Basically, It is a good homestay with a homely environment. Owner Rafiq bhai and Manager Sohel both are true gentlemen and educated. We really impressed with their friendly gesture. The hotel location was in a quiet and peaceful area for a comfortable stay with family. Our room was clean and spacious, and the attached bathroom was also fitted with modern fittings. 

Every day at our Dinner, they served Kashmiri food as per our request which was just mouthwatering, and delicious, my family enjoyed it a lot. But the cons are breakfast options. Very simple tasteless, low quantity, and has no variety.

Due to the unavailability of an electric kettle in the room, we had to order bed tea (Rs. 60 per cup) every day. Despite repeated requests, every time they served poor-quality tea, There was no tea vendor in the locality and we had to order at the hotel kitchen without any choice. That's the regret.

Harwan Resort is a homestay in a peaceful location

Place is a home converted into a guest house. Pictures are deceiving. Over priced and it is a small place with really no restaurant and open space. Far away from the main city and you spend more than 30 mins extra for going anywhere.

Worst service

"HARWAN residency" This hotel is bait and switch racquet operation .. please be aware.. DON'T BOOK.. our travel agent booked this property for us.. on the designated date we had to bang on the gate for 1/2 hr only to hear from the manager of the place, the booked property was not available due to some misunderstanding and they offered us a nearby place.. the alternative that was offered was a shady sort of place with 6 rooms having to make do with 3 common toilets.. we declined to take it and booked some other place for the night after a great deal of anguish..we left for gulmarg the next day all the while with the thinking that there has been a geniune misunderstanding.. on our return journey we booked a place called CHINAR RESIDENCY in Srinagar.. it was listed in all major hotel sites and we made booking calling the hotel directly and paid via Paytm.. the manager of the place asked us to call once we entered Srinagar.. we did as he told, he then directed us to come to Shalimar garden and call again.. called up again only to find out that we were led directly to the shady 6 room 3 common toilet place.. this place goes by the name "Basara residency".. please be aware.. remember these names..

Fraudulent place

We spent 5 nights in this resort. This is a very beautiful place to enjoy peaceful stay. We loved the hospitality of the staff and enjoyed our stay. Javedbhai the owner of this hotel is very cooperative and very gentle person. The rooms were very clean including bathrooms. Water quality particularly was very very pure. Please do visit this place whenever you are in search of a affordable, clean, peaceful hotels in Shalimar area at Srinagar. Javedbhai guided us nicely, every time  for our trip. You will certainly feel like second home.

Best place to leave peacefully in Srinagar...

Very nice place to stay. Electric blankets and room heaters protect you from the shivering cold outside, we stayed in mid November and slept comfortably with just our t-shirt on. Room decoration and wash room are elegant
