Inspite of Staying there for 4N/5D 
@ 7000/- for 2nights, & 
5500/- for 2nights =total 25000/- , 
Checkin 29/9/23 7pm &  3/10/23  check out,

1 time dinner @ ala card  1165/- ,
 we also used their paid vehicle for  at 3500/- per  day total 10500, 
Total final bill which came to  36000/- was paid via UPI  to the hotel manager Naseer & an advance payment of 2000/- which was made at a petrol pump during sightseeing & + 600/- advance taken by their driver

My mistake was i forgot to deduct this advance 2600/-  while settling the bill 36000/- at checkout & neither did the manager Naseer remind us to do so,  just before boarding the flight wen i reminded the manager on call for the extra payment 2600/- made by me, he confirmed that he would pay back the amount & I need not worry & head back home, But since 2days all my what's app reminders & calls have been ignored by the manager for a merely 2600/- refund, This shows the true color of a person who at such a big post can afford to do such cheap tricks & lose a good customer who did not leave the hotel for 4N/5D inspite of si many better hotel options available near by

Do not take a chance with this hotel, they dont care that we are on a holiday

WE STAYED IN HOTEL FOR FOUR NIGHTS , MR NASIR MANGAER PF HOTEL BROWN PALACE SUGGESTED US TO STAY IN HOUSE BOUT FOR 1 NIGHT HE BOOK HAIFA HOUSE BOAT FOR 1 NIGHT 2 ROOMS HE CHARGES US 3750 FOR I ROOM. WE GIVE 1000 ADVANCE . BUT NEXT DAY WE CHECK ON GOOGLE THE ACTUAL PRICE OF HAIFA HOUSE BOAT WAS 2000 FOR 1 ROOM . THEN WE DIRECTLY CALL TO HAIFA HOUSE BOAT HE SAID 1700 FOR ONE NIGHT ONE ROOM INCLUDIND BREAKFAST . MR NASIR CHEATED US NEXT WE ASK FOR CANCELATION OF HOUSE BOAT MR NASIR SAID U HAVE TO PAY FULL AMOUNT 7500 FOR 2 ROOMS . THE DAY WE CHECK OUT MR NASIR CHARGES US 4500 FOR CANCELLATION OF 2 ROOMS OF HOUSE BOAT. TOILETS OF HOTEL BROWN PALACE WAS DIRTY NO SOAP KIT DENTAL KIT WAS NOT AVAILABLE AT BATHROOMS . TV ALSO NOT WORKING


Worst experience

My family stayed at Hotel Brown Palace and were very pleased with the stay. Great Location – right next to Dal lake. Lush green mountains in the backdrop. Spacious and clean rooms. Hot water available 24/7. My family enjoyed their buffet dinner the most. Delicious!!
Mr. Naseer Dar, Manager of Brown Palace, was particularly helpful and ensured we had a pleasant stay. Looking forward to staying here again on our next visit.

Stay at Hotel Brown Palace

Hotel Brown Palace was indeed a really good experience for my family. The hotel is very easily accessible right next to dal Lake and has a beautiful view right in front with the mountain where you can relax peacefully.
The staff are very professional kind and caring and the food is just amazing.
The hotel provides hot water round the clock and is very beautifully designed with wood finish giving it a rich look.
The rooms are spacious and quite clean and I had a good experience at this hotel overall.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and the food was especially good.

Pathetic stay! 

We stayed there in June 2023.We had elderly family mwmbers and toddler..

Only good thing about this unit is location and beautiful lawn

Rests are awfully poor.

.Rooms are shabby..damp..They do not even provide bathroom kit, kettle, tea bags.. 
Worst Breakfast.

No option for customise your lunch and dinner except their prefixed buffet menu. Food Menu are horribly bad..

They do not even bother to provide customised foos opition for toddler.

Hotel management doest even know what service means..and reluctant to modify based on custmer feedback.

Not at all advisable .

Pathetic Stay! 

It's a great place to stay with beautiful views, great accessibility and all needed amenities. It's just a short walk from the Dal Lake. Also, the place is conveniently near the local shops. 
The servers are very helpful. We were helped a lot by Mr. Ahil Khan.

Excellent location and spacious rooms. Rooms are cleaned and we'll maintained. 
Garden is awesome! With full of different flowers.
Staff is nice and responsive at any given time.
Special thanks to Manager Mr. Naseer, who support and guided very well for all our tour.

Excellent property with excellent location

This Hotel is the fantastic of all this hotel is opposite to ghat no 12 , the rooms are very spacious , decorated , well ventilated . The staff was good bring you the things at ones. The food facility was fabulous and the food was very yummy .  People who are reading my review I would suggest you all please book rooms in this hotel only

Best experience ever in affordable price 

This hotel is in a sad state of affair. We were in Super Deluxe Rooms Block B but the rooms were dates and needed urgent attention with many a broken parts and worn out interiors. The toilet was old and stinking - no attention despite multiple complaints. They were not changing towels and insisting to use the same towels everyday. From a service point of view - everyone was always asking for tips. Breakfast menu was fixed with Paratha and Pickle. Damn they were not willing to make anything else. We asked for Poori or Upma or Upma and they were blatant in denials. Their dine-out are was full of flies. Bad hotel...Bad hygiene....bad staff. Only good thing is the lawn and location. They don't have a card swipe machine and didn't give us the final invoice as they said it will incur GST while I made my booking with the GST tariff.
