Worst experience!!! The staff is so rude and mannerless doesn't know how to treat their guests. Poorest service!!! They never attend ur call. There was no electricity and no water supply for 5 hours straight when we checked-in also they have not provided us with drinking water.We had to go to the market which is around 20 kms far from the resort n also they were not listening for anything. They were like stay at ur own risk. The place was full of insects lizards and big spiders. MY BABY AND I we didn't sleep the whole night.Pathetic and disgusting staff members their words were like nahi rehna aapko to room chodh do aap. Disgusting and mannerless people!!!! NEVER EVER STAY THERE!!!

So DISAPPOINTED!!!!WORST STAY!!

It was very disappointing to be here. The staff was not at all cooperative and the service was very poor. Also, the taste of the food was not upto the expectations and the staff rudely denied for the basic facilities we asked for. The amenities were also not properly managed. Overall it was a terrible experience.

Poor Amenities and Terrible Service

It was a horrible, pathetic, terrible experience, staff was rude there was response from Mr. Manoj wo booked us, you can't order food because they were tired you cannot order tea, because they were tired, AC was not working, rooms doors were not working, they didn't even want us to call them for any service it all happened because I paid the whole amount right after checking in. 
We were at there mercy.

Don't go Worst experience !!!

A late review but this place deserves a great one. We had to an overnight stay at Bandhagarh and decided to stay here based on location. We did not have much expectation of this place. As it was off season during summer, there was minimal support staff. But they were forthcoming and helpful during our duration of stay. The food was great, we had one of the best chicken dishes here. 

They were kind enough to allow us to leave our car for a day while we had to finish some work nearby.

A surprise stay

Property is great but food is just everything in terms of international market. Stay is perfect and suggested as team is really good. Food has to be improvised as they dont put salt at all and food is prepared as per international taste . The basic vegetable is at 300/- Inr. Property is not that away from main coty but food prices are extremely inflated with ultra small menu. Suggested to look for personalised food options but yes stay is perfect. 

Food beyond a point expensive

The most beautiful part of the Roaring Salvan is it's location ,the ethnic nature of the cottages and the hospitality of the staff..The real feel of being at the core of the jungle is here.Hospitality here is a virtue.

The most perfect jungle stay

What a great place to stay I'd say for this place.
To start with the resort location, unlike others like mpt white tiger and other Tala resorts where you feel you are just staying in a motel or a highway resort this one is right inside the jungle where you can constantly hear animals and the place gives you a perfect forest feel.
The staff and the manager Lakhan take care of you very well. They also help you in booking gypsy for safaris. Services were excellent and the staff was hard working.
The resort food was delicious, hygienic and fresh. Even kids and infants enjoy the meal as it was non oily and not very spicy.
Lastly I would thank Varun (owner of the resort) who being the resort owner really helped us out in all aspects of our trip like Safari bookings, Transportation, permit bookings and about Bandhavgarh reserve with his very helpful suggestions. He is really helpful and patient in listening to even the minutest detail a traveler would ask.
Thanks a lot again Varun and team for this amazing experience making it a perfect stay and we are looking forward to visit again soon.

Salvan County - The place to stay in Bandhavgarh

This property is just beautiful and perfectly located. The personal care we received by Varun and his team was unparalleled. The setting of the resort could not get any better - and we had several sightings close to the hotel premises itself. The open plan spacious bathroom was our favourite and also the private deck overlooking the forest. The resort is ideal for those who value and respect the peace and privilege of being able to stay in the heart of the jungle. We will be returning as often as possible.

The Perfect Jungle Stay

I dont know from where i start , it was wonderful trip for my family because we got very nice host mr. varun sharma, resort also are very nice i was visited my first trip to roaring salvan on august 2016  and i again planed this new year in roaring salvan and i must say our choice was very good and we are very happy to be hosted by mr. varun sharma the room was awsome the food was awsome they all the arrangements was awsome our new year party just get better by the arrangements host made for us we will be visiting soon

Before reading this review I would want to make a disclaimer. 

If you are true of wildlife lover/enthusiast, then only continue reading this or else you can save your time.

Situated between core and buffer one, this place gives a pure vibe of nature. Without any technology around, you are happily forced to live in the wilderness which makes your entire experience beyond imagination. While every property ensures a good hospitality to its guests, very few ensures this in true sense. The staff here lead by Mr.Lakhan makes sure your stay is as comfortable as your own home. When I say this I mean it because we were travelling with our 9 month old baby whose food was cooked in their kitchen but by my wife. Being so accommodative, made us relaxed for the entire duration. One of the courteous staff, Moolchand ensured that we have required in a minute and without reminders.

When I travel, either for personal or business purpose, food is the biggest concern. But here food is bliss. Plain, simple, organic, home grown (even rice) is the best part of the entire food preparation. 

Now coming to the owner of the property, Mr. Varun Sharma. There are two type of resort owners especially in wildlife – a) I heard and I am sharing with you b) I have experienced and hence sharing. He is the later one. A true wildlife expert (not enthusiast only) who cares so much for wildlife that he doesn’t cook any non-veg except for chicken( that too only farm and not wild) and does that because of guests ask. Always ready to help and ensures all possible request accommodation only till the time it doesn’t affect the other guests. When money is not the only objective, the outcome is really different and beautiful. He leads this saying by example. Kudos to you Varun.

The Roaring Salvan Resort is not only a perfect place to stay in Bandhavgarh but also to experience this majestic national park by living in it, naturally. Thanks once again to the entire team for making our stay pleasant and memorable.
