This is one of old property with best view in Ooty. Being on vally edge weather is very cold and misty. 24x7 super hot water running water is really great in cold weather. Hotel ensures hot water supply which is very good. Breakfast spread is good. Sleeping mattress and linens are clean and comfortable. Being hill station expect slow service but that's normal in hill stations.

Improvement required

This property need furniture and interior upgrade in rooms.
Room and bathroom lighting need to be more bright.
Doors and bed furniture need replacement.
Carpet in room furniture is must because sometimes it becomes too cold.
Bathroom flooring need re-leveling because water does not move and make bathroom cold.

Property with Best view in Ooty

We liked the breathtaking view, it is just awesome.
Improvements:
1. Improve hygiene in rooms and breakfast area as too many flies around.
2. Floors thoroughly wet after room cleaning and water logging in bathrooms.

Pros: Mesmerizing view

Cons: 
1) Terrible Service
   a) no one to attend to your requests
   b) you will have to wait for almost an hour for even a glass of water
2) everything is outdated - bed, dressing table, chairs, curtains, everything else and room itself
3) bugs and spiders everywhere and no effective solution for the same - the guy will just catch hem and leave outside your room.

  Here is a story of my spider and service experience -  My room had multiple spiders, they were as big as my palm. I was devastated by just finding them in my room. I called reception to inform the same and they said "I'm sending a service guy immediately". Well the service guy showed up after 1.5 hours and did the needful. Again after an hour or two there was another spider of the same size and I called for help and again the same thing, the service guy is nowhere near my room for another 2 hours. I was frustrated and took my bag and just went to reception and asked for another room OR exit from hotel. The guy at reception said "there is no room available and if you want you can leave". Folks the point to be noted is that the reception guy said this at night! around 1AM.
He was not willing to clean the room, did not provided service, was not ready to provide another room (and believe me rooms were available) and was ready to give me a checkout at night at 1AM. where would have I gone at that time?? I had no choice but to stay in the same room.
5) Next morning when I asked to book a car for my departure, they asked for additional 100rs just to book a car

Please, Boycott this place!!!!!!

Terrible Experience

The Only plus for this resort is the mesmerizing view, rest everything is below par and actually the cons supersede the only plus it has...

The service is so horrible that for every small problem you will have to call the reception atleast three times and wait time for resolution is unpredictable.
in our three days stay, their TV/cable service never worked for more than an hour. their blanket were infected with bed bugs, and we had to get it replaced twice to get a proper one. The food is horrible, and the spread is below average. After facing all this problem, when I complaint to the manager, he gave me a small discount and that to, with a gesture as if he was doing an favor to me. I would never recommend this resort to anyone


Location, being our major goal, this hotel delighted our hearts with it's spacious and beautifully designed rooms with balconies, each built in cascading structure.  Food was an add-on.  Staff was so courteous that they gracefully and willingly customized our favorite picks, like provided me my sort of cold coffee post-dinner.  It's balcony almost a room-size encompassed the maximum greens and peaks of Ooty, flushing it's charm in cheeks and greens in eyes. Without any hitch, I can swear it as a dream-cum-true sort regarding location, structure and view.  Naturally, economical considering our 2 night stay on week-days.  Also, we could afford a great ayurvedic spa provided by it's dedicated masseurs.   From our dining table we could gaze down our hill sloping down to adjoin all the wide n steep valleys around, each sparkling with diamonds in the darkness of night, veiled and unveiled every minute by moving fogs and clouds.  Oh!!! I am so lost even after a year, in an eye-blink could relive those scenes gifted by this beautiful place (being extremely nostalgic).

Rightly said, Man proposes and God disposes.  Being, a government employee on a budget trip, having pre-bookings with nic guest houses, annoyed with it's dirty location and terrible room-conditions, led us to navigate and come across a whole beautiful mountain manifesting within itself a lovely structure named as "Sagar International Resorts" that introduced us to a real "Queen of Hills" with all it's charms and greens.

Heart of Ooty!! Dream Location!! Encompassing most of the greens n valleys in your each eye-roll!!

Excellent view from the hotel, great food, helpful and friendly staff. The location is something that probably no other hotel in Ooty can give you....we reached post 2 pm and yet the restaurant staff was very gracious and served us hot and delicious food for lunch...their breakfast menu is also quite varied and we being a group of 7 literally gorged ourselves on it..The hotel is a bit far away from main city so it is convenient if you have your own vehicle. All the rooms are located on a hill slope so none of the rooms face each other, which actually gives you good privacy...Just one suggestion though...rooms should have heaters since it can get quite cold in Ooty even during the day...

💯/💯 for the View 

The hotel's best feature is spacious rooms, vast balcony, awesome view from each room, hot water and trolley for ease of movement. The only one bad experience was not providing blankets at night and when we requested for the same the person was very rude. The hotel should simple pit blankets in all rooms any which ways the guests would need it during Oct to Feb period. Food was average and commensurate to the price charged.

Value for money

This hotel is located a little bit away from city. You should have your own ride with you to move upto the heart of the city. But it works more in its favour than against it. It's location is the best thing. Wonderful view is available from all the rooms. Be it sunrise or sunset wonderful view is available. It has large balcony with every room. Hense best place to enjoy your evening with a drink in chilling cold winters. The ootty coonor heritage train passing through is visible from rooms. On the downside, food quality is not good  and neither is service. But restaurant also have a wonderful view of the valley. If you are looking for peaceful stay with view of valleys to enjoy, you can go for this place.
