Tucked away close to the vibrant energy of Assi Ghat, lies a true Varanasi treasure - a PG offering exceptional value and a truly enriching experience. From the moment I stepped in, I was welcomed by the warmth and genuine hospitality of the owner, who immediately set the tone for a comfortable and friendly stay.

The PG itself is a delightful surprise. Immaculately clean and with well-maintained facilities, it provides everything you need for a comfortable stay. But the real star of the show is the rooftop terrace. Oh, that view! Gazing out at the majestic Ganges, basking in the golden hues of sunrise or watching the enchanting evening rituals - it's a scene that's etched in my memory. This terrace became my haven for quiet moments of reflection and a space to share laughter and stories with fellow travelers.


Hidden Gem Near Assi Ghat!

My husband and I stayed 5 nights in this guest house and we had a great time! Very close to the axi ghat and to many very nice restaurants and bars, there is no confusion of the old city. The rooms are clean. The owners are an extraordinary couple, very helpful and kind. Super recommended !!

Very good accomodation!!

We stayed in this guest house for 3 nights and surely the position was the best. Once the Tuk Tuk/Uber has dropped you down as close as possible, you have to walk a few meters in a narrow street to reach it (it may seem “shady” but it’s safe).
Very close to Assi Ghat.
But here two points they can improve:
1) WiFi connection was bad. We could do very few things with the phone, when we needed connection we simply went in a restaurant we knew had good WiFi.
2) new pillows and new bed sheet. The room was clean, but the bad wasn’t just right. Pillows were probably old and with permanent stain. Bed sheet were itchy and pierced. I simply suggest to buy new ones.
Apart from that the owner was friendly.
To sum up, good experience thanks to position. WiFi and beds to improve.

Good quality-price ratio

The location of the Guesthouse is very nice, as it is near to the beautyfull assighat. The family is so helpful and the room was basic but verry clean and conftable. Its deffnietly a place to find rest and a homecomeing-feeling. They can even offer an appartement with a small kitchen for those, that wish to stay for a longer time in beloved kashi!

Nice Place

We stayed 2 nights at the Asha Paying Guesthouse and it was an amazing moment. Mahesh, his wife and their two children are wonderful host. You will experience more than a simple hotel but also discovering the life of this family. The place is very well located in Assi Ghat and comfortable. Definitely take an AC room during summer time and do not hesitate to talk with these great people, they just want to exchange with foreigners.

Lovely family and guesthouse

Very small room, a little dirty, but very good position om the start of ghats. Very good owner, good wifi connection. No problems with anything. Nothing comfortable but for independent tourist perfect - I can reccomanded.

I stayed 2 nights in Asha's close to the Assi Ghat,  I had a room with simple bed and bathroom very clean. The owner and his family are Very nice and very friendly. They have good advices  
To be recomanded ! 

Friendly family guesthouse

Mahesh runs this family guest house, he was very helpful and polite. There are 4 rooms on the first and 2nd floor, they are basic but clean with a 'proper' toilet, shower and fan above the bed. The property is located off the main road so it is peaceful compared to the busy roads.
