Nandini Homestay

Varanasi

We were booked into this homestay but asked the owner to arrange a pickup at the airport. We were then taken to a different place - SS homestay - which is not good. We were assured that this was the right place but there was no WIFI to check at first. It turned out that Nandini was double booked and we did not get there until 3 nights later. Avoid SS homestay - not very clean, no key to the door so a caretaker had to be there to let us in - he slept on the sitting room floor. People banging on the door when he was not there. We did not feel very safe.
Nandini was good though - clean, nice food, a family place as we had hoped. In an interesting area. A bit far from the ghats but on the way out to Sarnath. The rooms were good, en-suite and with a nice balcony. I would be happy to stay there again as long as I wasn't diverted to somewhere else!

Nice place but make sure you get there!

I went Varanasi for one night only because no time. I want stay more. But next time I go for more I stay in nandini homestay it was very beautiful and amazing the people are so kind and helpful my stay was very good 
If I go to Varanasi I we go only nandini homestay I love this place 
Mr. Prem Bhai was very good person he helped me everything what I wants

"best place"

Nice normal homestay. The rooms are big and many have a balcony. The owner is very nice. His wife prepares personally the breakfasts. It was difficult to find the hotel, as you need to choose a rather small street between the buildings. The price per night is higher then in other hotels.

Nice but expensive

Asked my Tuk-Tuk driver to take me to a hostel and he took me here. They welcomed me in at 10pm with no booking and it was my favourite place that i stayed on my whole trip. Absolutely lovely family and very helpfull. Great room and amazing rooftop with great view of the palace.

Great location withing walking distnace of the best spots in town, 10/10 reccomend and i'll be back one day

We arrive in Varanasi on the eve of an important holiday, and all accommodation is already booked for a long time. We accept this solution, although we are aware that it will not be up to par with the other accommodations experienced in our trip. The arrival in the evening is desolate: the context in which the homestay is located is that of a suburban area in India: crowded, dirty, with almost nothing touristic (a little far away there is a restaurant that is not bad). The homestay is basically the top floor of a private residence (the manager's), dignified but rather unclumsy.

For backpackers

Although it is true that the location is not the best, the owner makes it easy to contact the guardian, a serious and professional driver.

To repeat it.

Prem, the owner of the homestay, helps you in everything he can and cares about your well-being.The room and bathroom were very clean.The attention, great.I felt at home, undoubtedly one of the best lodgings I have found in India.

Familiar and welcoming.

First of all, the rooms are spacious, with a private bathroom, as well as a large terrace, and a living room corner with a TV. Then the reception was amazing, I was able to share moments with Anita & Prem as well as their daughter and other members of their family. Prem assures that your stay is going well. He is an amazing host, but besides he is a guide, and he speaks French! And even to ask for better?

We're very grateful to the owner of the Prem house and his family for their hospitality, care, responsiveness, I recommend this guest house, 10 out of 10! Conditions in the house: cleanliness, hot water, excellent location.
