Most Ideal for Visitors to CMC Vellore, just 100 meters.  
Veg restaurant grnd floor -good. Non veg restaurant roof top -superb. Bar grnd floor -very good. Food quality good. 
Room cleanliness average. Bit small room. Toilets not so clean and poor maintenance.
Reception team okay.

Old property, a little bit unprofessional, not properly maintained, no easy room service, In dense area, opposite to CMC vellore hospital. Book only in case of not getting any other hotel as there are less no.of good hotels in Vellore. Overall anyhow manageable type hotel. There is open terrace restaurant, food is average.

Had booked this hotel looking at few reviews and pics on Make my trip. My honest advise, dont book it online. Go see the room and than only you book, if you find it OK. Its very dirty, poorly maintained, smelly and have cockroaches, dirty basin and toilet, mirrors are dirty.. even glasses, water pots, Phone have so much of dirt on them. Had to somehow spend one night and than cancel the booking as it was unbearable. 
Am surprised, what makes people give 4/5 rating for this property at this cost??

The USP of this property is it's location.  Situated a few minutes walk from the CMC , it's a perfect stay for patients visiting the hospital. Booked a non a.c room over phone. Reception is spacious and exudes old world charm . The room allotted was airy and of standard size. There was no bottled water, no tea maker. intercom and TV were non functional The wash room was small,  dank and the commode had seen better days.  The cover came off the hinges when I tried to lift it.  After much persuasion,  shifted to another room.  The wash room was same as the other room,  but the commode cover was fixed.  Went for meals at the roof top restaurant.  Both food and ambience were excellent.  Even if someone stays elsewhere,  must try their food.  And the buffet breakfast was also up to the mark. The management should take note of points mentioned here, so that a guest's stay in this property is comfortable.

Great location, excellent food,  but...

Had to stay in this hotel for 2 nights, rooms are so so , the morning breakfast is completely veg , the non veg restaurant in the rooftop is good. The staffs are polite. The bathroom needs more towels and washroom kits.

Strategically located just near the Christian Medical College & Hospital Vellore with affordable rooms and decent food served by friendly reception desk, this hotel is a succour to the patients and their relatives travelling to CMC Vellore for specialised treatment (much cheaper than any other multi speciality hospitals in India).  

Nice friendly hotel.

Firstly, this place is a 10 minute walk from CMC Hospital Vellore. Near to the Petrol Pump and minutes away from the authorized parking for CMC. This 3 star hotel is located in Arcot Road. Talking firstly about the welcome. It was humble as all hotels are. The stay was quite pricey for the services given. This hotel has a restaurant called the ' JalPaan'. It's food is moderate. I was alloted Room 304, the room was very nice. There wasn't any staff at the third floor. We had to call everytime for Room Service. The Jalpan restaurant does not serve at night.
Altogether my experience was satisfying, got room available for a night. But I don't think the services provided here was upto the mark. 

Regarding the Review of Aavanaa Inn

It's a decent hotel. Rooms are spacious and  clean enough. Bed linen are okay. Toilet is generally clean but slightly uncomfortable in terms of space and looks. It's slightly dated hotel and that  shows up in toilet. Other wise no big complaints. 

The restaurant serves good food and we liked north Indian breads and Dhaals there. Morning complimentary buffet is equally good. Overall no complaints with food.

The big advantage for this hotel is its location, which is some 300 meters away from Christian Medical College, Vellore. So for the patients who visit CMC, Vellore, this hotel is a good option compared to other hotels nearby.

Slightly over priced decent hotel near CMC vellore

The hotel is opposite the CMC Hospital and the restaurant at the terrace has an outside and AC seating. The outdoor seating is nice though the weather will decide your choice.
Had some Chinese food at the restaurant- flavours were decent but very oily! Little variation in baseline flavours.
