Wow! If you're looking for an affordable & amazing hostel in Bandong, don't look any further. My friends and I have stayed at the Attic for two nights during our trip through Asia and it has been the best hostel yet! The beds were good, the dorm was quiet & clean and the facilities were great. I guess the only point of improvement would be that the mirrors are a little bit low for western men haha. The best aspect of this hostel is definitely the staff; they are extremely friendly and helpful. They know everything about the surroundings of Bandung and are more than happy to help you plan your stay over there. Also, they are always in for fun conversations. Thanks a lot for making us feel welcome in Indonesia!

Amazing staff and lovely hostel in Bandung!

If other places serve the breakfast until 10.am. Here, you can have the brunch until 12 am. Also, you are free to boil the provided instant noodles whenever you want.

The location is just several walks to the main street to get angkot from Djuanda Street or Dago. It's good if you want to enjoy Car Free Day every Sunday morning.

It's not on the main street. You have walk through the small road across the gas station. This place is at the back of Commonwealth Bank building.

The staff are friendly. The house is clean. And free WiFi is accessible from anywhere.

A Good Place to Stay and Eat

Cannot reccomend this hostel enough, the staff are so helpful and go above and beyond to help. They create a really lovely homely vibe and looked after us so well! The breakfast was also great and the rooms were clean with comfy beds.

Amazing hostel!!!!

We were on a backpacking trip to the Attic. The accommodation was by far the cleanest we had on the trip. The staff is incredibly friendly, but they speak very little English. There is a simple breakfast with toast and eggs and a daily Special added to it. We booked a trip through the accommodation to the white crater and the hot springs - beautiful!

Very clean and friendly

It was an excited place to stay, with the warm welcome from the staff (I forgot all the staff name) and they are acomoding a lot. Also, the owner are friendly. Even it is cheap, but you will get a good accomodation here. Free coffee and tea and breakfast choice. I think the staff need to notice your name to the guest to get more friendly. Last but not least, it is a homey place for a traveller.

Feels Like Home

The best accommodation we have stayed at for a long time! We absolutely loved the attic and originally booked for 2 nights but stayed 4. The owners were lovely and super friendly and so generous with their time and information. They live next door and are usually out the front to chat during the morning and evening. They provide free breakfast which is delicious! They also have free instant noodles and tea/coffee 24/7 which was awesome! The rooms are super clean and comfortable and the bathrooms were really clean. they also provided free laundry which we felt a little guilty about but it was so nice of them!  The location is good if you're up for a bit of a walk but it is down a little alley but it is well lit and the location is on maps.me. Would definitely recommend and hope lots of people book with them because they are lovely people.

best accom in a long time

We arrived in Bandung in the middle of the day giving us what we thought was enough time to get to the hostel before it went dark. How wrong we were. We were in a metre taxi-and I am not exaggerating here-took over an hour looking for the hostel for what should have been about 10 mins. The poor taxi driver asked so many people who didn’t know where the hostel was and after driving around in circles we finally found it. The directions from the hostel are terrible and this cost us so much money-could have been potentially dangerous if we didn’t have such a lovely taxi driver who might have kicked us out as it was beyond a joke. 
On one of our nights in the dormitory it was obvious there was a couple in one single bed and the woman kept coming out and looking very distressed and crying and was uncomfortable for us. Luckily the host agreed to move us to another room but the two were later moved out of the hostel so who knows who they were or what was going on. Would not recommend-not safe or easy for travellers.

Nightmare to find

First thing about this place is going there proved a bit difficult as the grab driver dropped us on the road and we had to look for it in the lanes. Luckily for us there are directions painted on the walls en route. Also outside the house there is a sign board. 

We stayed in a fan room which is very basic with one bed which can be extended into two but when we do that there is hardly any space inside the room. The bathroom is nearby and it is ok. There is a kitchen on the ground floor where you can make a cup of coffee or noodles anytime. The staff are very good and helpful.

It is like staying at Home

We spent two nights in the attic and had a double room with our own bathroom. Everything was clean and we got some good tips from the staff for our next trip.

For the price, all right.

We absolutely LOVED staying at The Attic and would recommend it to anyone going to Bandung! 

The whole place is very clean, the beeakfast, which you can prepare for yourself whenever you decide to get up, is good (eggs or pancakes in our case), but most importantly the owners and the entire staff is incredibly helpful and nice. We loved sitting outside with them talking about everything and anything. As Youppie and Asti, the owners, said: you arrive as a guest and leave as a friend.
