Stayed just one night in the Abadi Asri Hotel .Walk in price was IDR 260.000.
Location was superb, with a big eyecatching billboard sign.
Lush garden surrounds the property.Huge parking lot is available.Check in and out was quick.
Room condition was clean ,a jug of water hot or cold ,was a compliment.Friendly front desk staff, and the one who showed us to our room.
A bathtub, a small tube TV , desk and chairs , sofa , was a standard feature of our room.
The downside ,there's no aircon,better to install one , because it would be unpleasant to sleep when the weather is hot, the towels are smelly.
Well , we got what we paid for , and frankly speaking the  room condition in this hotel was better than a 4 stars hotel we stayed also in Setiabudhi/Lembang area not long ago.
Maybe we would come back .

Cheap room on northern bandung

Abadi Asri Hotel is situated in better part of Bandung slightly higher ground and lined with canopy trees.  You can feel the cool breeze in the front garden of the entrance.

It is a Japanese Inn Style Hotel with single storey building  built on right and left sides with a Japanese garden in between the rooms.  You walk the open corridors along the garden to your rooms either facing the Middle garden or the adjoining rooms facing smaller garden along the boundary of the property.

The entrance of the lobby foyer is fronted  by a garden of old trees and you don't get to hear the drowning  bustle of the street.  

Anyway, the Twin room are wood paneled using the usual Teak Wood and has the style of the orderliness of a Japanese room. Large cupboards are tucked away near the  bathroom and the utility table are placed in the usual position facing the beds.

Now, you have a choice of AirCond rooms or simply a room with a Cooler Fan. We opted for the Cooler Fan as the place is situated on a higher ground of Bandung.  The temperature is just nice for the day as well as the night which tends to be  lower.  And mind you we are from the Tropics and we consider the temperature to be Cold when Temperate Visitors would consider Cool.

As the Europe Cup was on we, the night was spent watching football.  But sleep was a bliss in the cool climate.

Breakfast,once again  is the usual fare Rice Porridge and the assortment of Noodles and bread and Jam.   Their  coffee is good.  

As this Hotel is situated in a better part of the City and complete surrounded by tree-lined  streets  and residential area of mansions.  As Senior golfers tend to require massage of the tired limbs and body, a decent massage parlour is  not too far from where we are.  

If one is on  a shopping spree of the  Factory Outlets , the sloping road downwards leads to the whole area.   Fruits stalls and typical Sundanese restaurants are nearby.   We dined at the Suharti Restaurant known for its  Sundanese cuisine.

We checked out to play Golf at Mountain View, Dago Pakar which is just 10 drive from where we are.  After the game we proceeded to Bogor.
