Fendi is a scammer. We booked a tour with him to see the turtle in the meru betiri park, but the day of the tour, we got a inexperienced guide that did not speak english. That guide did not tell us any correct information at all. When we got inside the park, the road got bumpier. Our jeep broke down after 10 meter of bumpy road. There are so many other tour guides, I would not recommend going with him.

Not recommended for tours.

We are really happy to find Fendy, he is a smart and helpfull guy, was so much friendly with us. We had a nice time with him and family... We always recommend his place and his trip to Ijen Gunung!!!!

Best trip and place to stay in Banyuwangi

Fantastic trip with a nice place to stay and a smart & great travel guide.

Fendy planned a nice trip which save time from avoiding traffic jam & always find a good place to have photo from crowded area.

Had an incredible moment to see baby turtle hatched, saw big turtle at the beach at night and released baby turtle back to in the wild in Sukamade Turtle Beach. Saw the beautiful blue flame and the view changed between night time and sunrise in Ijen. Had a good walking route for a lot nice view & great location to see sunrise at Bromo . Magnificent view at the bottom of Waterfall Tumpak Sewu.  
這個旅程不僅可以看到小海龜破殼而出,  也看到 IJEN 火山的藍色火焰及變幻景色, 在Bromo 火山遠離人群的地方享受日出的景色, 及看到 Tumpak Sewu 瀑布如此壯麗. 

Fendy always take care of me especially when I could not catch up the plane and meet him by bus instead.  He contacted the bus driver ensure my safety and update my status when I suffered traffic jam.  He is highly recommended.

I really enjoyed to have him for this journey.  He might bring travelers to ordinary place but he will not be disappointed by introducing great experience and good planning.

Fantastic Trip

Absolutely enjoyed every moment! Fendi made the experience for us-what a great guy! This guy works like crazy, he picked us up from the train station in the middle of the night for a reasonable price, he arranged and took us to ijen for 300k each and provided us with all the equipment we would need and was very honest that we wouldn’t need to pay extra for a guide. 

He took us to the turtle conservation park and his knowledge was incredible. Part of the trip included visiting local factories and seeing how they made brown sugar, rubber, coconut oil and coffee. It was so interesting and completely different to the tours where you are taken somewhere just to purchase something. This was a real experience with locals working extremely hard. Fendi was the perfect guide and host, he would constantly check that everything was okay for you and make sure you were happy. Although we were unlucky and didn’t see the turtle come onto the beach to lay her eggs, the fact that we got to release baby turtles made up for this. His homestay is lovely as are his family, I honestly have nothing but good words to say, he even took us to the bus stop and waited for over an hour with us to make sure we would get on the right one when we left.

WOW!! 

We had a decent night at the homestay, staying for one evening before trekking Ijen. The host was very kind, offered us a pick-up and even packed us a breakfast to eat at the volcano. He was also honest about what you would/wouldn't need at Ijen. Facilities are basic but that's what you would expect from a cheaper homestay. They were all clean and working, and the wi-fi was extremely good. I'd recommend staying here if you are looking for a few hours sleep somewhere cheap before trekking Ijen. 

Nice stay

we went there by motorbike and asked some people to get there. the family were very friendly and definitely can provide you all information about Banyuwangi. as the owner himself is a tour guide, you can him anything or maybe join a tour with him.

a bit far from the main street, but totally friendly family

It started out well. Host picked us up from train station. Took us to his home, met his wife & child. He offered to go into town to bring us food. (We did this a few times, each time he took some of the change from the food, so he charged a commission to go get us food, and he almost insisted that we stay at his house and have him go get us food.We stayed 2 nights, hiked Mt ijen on the 2nd night. He took us up there for 400K each. Then offered to take us to bus stop for transportation to bali.  We trusted him and he instructed us to pay him 120K each for transportation to bali. He got us to the bus stop. But rather than it be a big bus, it was a tiny Bemo. He loaded us up, and instructed the driver to drop us off at a different spot then the bus station. When we got in the bus, he went behind the bus to pay the driver the fare. Which means that the price he charged us was not what the price for the bus was. Later we looked up bus prices and they were only 40K.  With ferry fee being less then 10K.  During the most uncomfortable ride in a Bemo ever. We asked the driver to just take us to the Denpasar bus stop where he was taking everyone else. He said to do that we needed to pay 50K more. Our homestay host already ripped us off big time, so we didn't want to pay anymore, even tho he prob paid the driver very little.  Bed had bed bugs,, we discovered cockroaches. This guy ripped us off, that's how he makes his living. Don't go here, don't support his scams.
