The first impression was good. The room was clean and cool and the hotel staff were making an effort but things changed quickly.

We decided to do our laundry in the hotel even though it was very expensive (costing 120.000rp for 4kg = 8€, the most expensive laundry in 6 months of travels). When we got back our clothes we noticed that my girlfriend was missing 7!! out of her 8 underpants. We quickly went to the reception and claimed the missing pieces - they said they will look for it in the laundry but nobody cared or responded back. We had to ask again and than they told us they couldn't find it. That's it. No apologies. Nothing. You can't just loose 7 pairs of underwear in the laundry. That's just not possible. Somebody must have taken them. They also lied to us that the clothes have been washed in a professional laundry but later we found out that they have been washed in their own laundry which is in a residential building near the hotel. In the end they refunded us the 120.000rp for the laundry but buying new underwear will cost a lot more and it's impossible to find proper underwear, especially on Belitung.

We didn't feel comfortable staying in this hotel anymore. The breakfast was also one of the worst we had in Indonesia and most of the buffet items were empty before 8am!! On one day we went to breakfast at 9:30am and there was no breakfast anymore - nobody told us when there is breakfast but usually you can assume that there is still breakfast until 10am.

The guy who picked us up from the airport was nice but also very interested in arranging an island hopping tour for us. He urged us to to it the next day and we unfortunately agreed. When we checked the weather on the next morning the forecasts predicted rain for the whole day. We told the guy but he only said "it's okey, will be sunny later, and it's better if you do it today". Although we decided not to go and agreed to do it the next day instead (we felt like there was no other choice because he was very pushy that we should do the tour). We didn't saw the sun once this day and it was very stormy. On the next day the weather was a bit better but at this point we couldn't enjoyed the tour anymore, our mood was already very bad. The hotel managed to ruin our trip to Belitung.

We were really relieved to leave the place.

Worst stay in 6 months of travels

Small but cozy hotel. Located on jl sudirman 16, around 15 mins drive away from the beach. Rooms are simple and clean. Well maintained. Staff here is friendly. Breakfast not much of variety but good enough to give you all the energy to start your day of exploring. 
The staff here was not only friendly but they do go the extra mile to ensure your stay was a memorable one...

Small hotel but quaint...

The hotel location is only 20 mniutes drive from the airport & 5 minutes drive to the nearest beach called Tanjung Pendam Beach. The hotel is beside to BCA (Bank Central Asia) in Jendral Sudirman Street. I booked single room with the room size 3x4m2. There's the bathroom inside the room. The room has AC and big LED TV (only Indonesian channels). Breakfast menu is Indonesian food and taste was good. Near the hotel there's Nesky Mart. The hotel provided airport shuttle service Rp. 70.000/one way. Threre's no elevator but the hotel staff is ready to help to bring my suitcase.

Perfect Hotel for Backpacker & Solo Traveler

We emailed in advance for an airport pick up, and our guy was already waiting the moment we got out of the terminal. Though language was a slight barrier, the staff were extremely patient, helpful and went all out to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay. They even helped book our island hopping tour and spa which were fantastic recommendations!

My room was located on the ground floor. Being a solo traveller to Belitung Island for watching the solar eclipse, I have found that this accommodation fulfill nearly all my need as my backpacker. The room was big enough for a small frame Asian guy like me. Only towel, soap and shampoo was provided, so bring your own supply or better still, buy it locally from minimart nearby. The bed was a firm, good single bed. The WiFi was not very stable during my stay, being lost sometimes and strong the other time..During my stay, the power did went out for a few times, but I guess they have a backup power generator as the power did came back a few minutes later. The breakfast was a simply Indonesian with limited but delicious selections of buffet available...Car rental, scooter rental and airport shuttle services are available too. It took 15-20 minutes of walk from the hotel to Tanjung Pandan town. Telkomsel Service Centre, minimart and food stalls are located just a few minutes walk from the premise.
