The most terrible place to sleep I've ever been to. The room had big mold on the wall. The linen smelled musty and was dirty. All room stunk so much that all our things like clothes and backpacks started to smell musty. It was disgusting! Also the service was not helpful and resourceless.. Even when we waned to rent a motorbike they forgot about it and when they started to arange it, we done it faster by ourself. Don't go there!

Disaster!

When I came to the hotel at 1pm. I didnt see nobody in the reception. But, they have 2 staff incharge at that time that I saw them clean the room and others are sit in the restaurant. But they were refuse to serve us due to that is not their duty. Then we wait half hour when 1 staff suddenly come from back area then asking us "what do you want here?" (What a rude sentence). When we are say that we are wanna check in, then she served us. Again, when we come to the room, the bed & bathroom is dirty, then we ask to move. Ok. She agreed that. Tomorrow when we back from our vacation in the Tanjung Kelayan beach, we come to the room and found that the water is off. Then we tell the reception, thenthey were said that, they were not turn on the water yet. What!!!??? Again that they ask us to wait until the water is on. But, we were dirty enough that we just back from snorkelling. So, we were need shower. They just said that we can open a room for shower. Come on man, we have to shower in other room while ny room is far from shower room. Then we ask to move room not we shower in other room. They were agreed that. AGAIN, WHEN WE were move, they were no staff help us, and the room is not ready yet. We have to ask some towels. And another thing, the water is yellow and dirty.

Terrible and poor service

Stayed for 2N. It was the cheapest in town I guess. It was only 330k for 2N. At first there was a problem with my reservation I made in Bookin*.com. she could find my name coz I made my deposit few days prior. However she required me to show her the hotel voucher. When I showed him my booking code and the booking page itself she got confused. She asked me to send it to an email address. It was about 6pm already and I was so tired. It never happened to any of my reservations with this apps. No one ever required me to send this an email. I know that I probably could search it somewhere in my inbox, I know the website always sends booking confirmation through email as well. However, I made the reservation days prior to my coming. And what made things got worse coz I would need an internet connection while my simcard couldnt get any signal in that city, plus they dont have wifi. I finally just showed her the email I sent to confirm my paymen. And she finally let me in. 
The breakfast was only bread and tea..anyway for 165k/ night,what can u exect?
The beach of Tanjung Pendam is exactly next to this hotel..the location is also near some foodstalls with good taste and price..the water is smelly and dont dream of having toilet amenities. One dirty towel was provided in the room for two. 
The restroom is really really a problem,however knowing that I only spent several hours to sleep, this still could be an option for a backpacker. The room is huge anyway that it can even accomodate 5 persons. 

Cheap, next to Tanjung Pendam Beach..dont expect other than these 

Stayed for 2 nights with my husband. 

Pros: Location, helpful and friendly staff, cheap
Cons: Sanitation of rooms could be better but my main issue is the tap water. It smells like a mixture of rust and septic water. Really awful, avoided taking a shower as long as possible. Used bottled water to wash up as the water from the tap is not at all usable.

stayed here from 19-21 March 2015 at the cheapest room offered (fan, bathroom and tv included)

plus: cheap price, very good location, good service and people
minus: bad water (tangy and yellow-ish), questionable sanitation of the room

comment:
- it's a very basic room. big in space, however not well-maintained. if they cleaned out a bit, that would be great. if you chose the room with aircon, the situation is much much better.
- bad water, however problem solved for us because they have a public bathroom near the restaurant that has much cleaner water. they also said they're trying to solve the problem with this bad water, so fingers-crossed it will be successful. because honestly, the place is too good to be wasted because of sanitation and bad water.
- might not be the best stay I had in my traveling days, but if you want cheap, it is cheap. i have seen worse, though. but i need the room only for sleep in the night, so no complain. if you need a room to laze around, then it's another matter.
- staffs were very helpful and nice.
