We booked this for our wedding and honeymoon for 18 nights - what a mistake.
The villa needs considerable updating, it smells musty and isn't pleasant at all. it seems it hasn't really been used much since 2019.
The was no access to the upstairs area as the stairs were dangerous. The outside had a dangerous step, the sun shade was mildew, the towels  were not clean. The sunbed cushion has seen better days. Neither of the safes worked and the fire extinguisher didn't look like if would if needed. There were curtains missing. Even the sign to the villa is grotty and not welcoming!
The breakfast was poor, there was an omlette with some microwaved side dishes on day 1 with some fruit, on day 2 the bits we hadn't eaten were brought back out again. 
The bedding wasn't particularly clean, and the air source heat pump was on the wall behind the bed so this made a noise / vibration all night.
We understood that it was about 15min walk to the main street, it wasn't the nicest walk and there were many dogs in the area, nothing usual for Bali but if you are not comfortable be aware of this too.
We had to make the decision to leave this villa and make a booking a nearby hotel as this was unacceptable and not as described. This left us out of pocket by a few thousand pounds but it had to be done.

Outdated description & photos

This place was so discusting, the bay is full of sewerage and rubbish, you can not go out to the pool area because the smell is horendous. The pool was full of algae, the villa smells musty and damp, the airconditioning is no way enough for the size of the villa hot and humid constantly, can not sleep at night, inside is full of moskitos really bad. Please do not stay here unless you want to ruin your holiday. It was supposed to be our beautiful family christmas holiday but we were crushed with dissapointment.
I raised my dissatifaction with premier hospitality but they totally ignored my concerns and tried to cover it.
It looked so amazing in the photos but once you arrive, its like your looking at something totally different.

Discusting surrounds, the bay and the villa. So deceiving in the photo's. Avoid dissapointment.DO NOT STAY HERE,WARNING.

We stayed at villa cempaka for 4 nights and the sunset villa for a week. Oka, Atun and Beni were absolutely amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. Both of the villas were stunning and I would highly recommend them.

Stunning Villas

We stayed in the Sunset Villa for 8 nights. We had 6 adults and 1 child during our stay. The villa is spacious and always clean. The views and pool are breathtaking. 
Oka and Atun made our visit unforgettable. Both are very attentive and go the extra mile every single day. My mum had her 60th birthday whilst we were there. Oka and Atun made sure that the decorations were up, a birthday cake was delivered and an AMAZING meal prepared and cooked by them was all done. 
The BBQ was amazing. We opened up the family room doors overlooking the pool and the bay at sunset. What an amazing experience it all was. 
Budi made sure that our visits out and about Bali were exactly what we wanted. He had fantastic food recommendations and we loved learning more about his family and way of life. 
Lots of food outlets close by - Starbucks, Money Changer and a MiniMart at the end of the road (15 minute walk). We also used WhatsApp and GoJek to order in food if we didn’t feel like going out. 
Oka arranged an in room massage for the ladies of our group. It was fantastic and very relaxing. 
The bathrooms were immaculate, with each bedroom having it’s own en-suite. Each en-suite has an indoor shower, indoor bath, toilet and outdoor shower. 
The bedrooms were very spacious and each had their own tv. The upstairs master bedroom had a balcony with beautiful views. Each room had a safe. 

The pool was massive and we loved swimming or lazing by the pool every day. The daybed was comfortable (many naps were taken). The water was warmer than we had anticipated, but that didn’t stop us from getting in. 

This holiday was absolutely amazing! Thank you to all the staff, especially Oka, Atun and Budi for making this experience, one we will never forget!!

Unforgettable Holiday!

We stayed at villa Sunset for 3 nights and we felt the days went off too quickly as we were enjoying every moment we were there. Staying in a villa like this has given us a different perspective on how a holiday should be. The whole concept of family bonding and quality downtime with the loved ones were well felt within this villa. We got together all the time, swam in the amazing pool any minute we wanted to and cherished our moments with gusto. The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were superb. Of course Oka and Ibu atun are great assets to the amazing villa as they went an extra mile with their enthusiasm to make us felt so much at home. The BBQ dinner is a must  as it will surely give you a great finishing touch. My son and I found 2 bicycles in good shape complimentary of the villa and we rode all the way to the main road. It took us only a couple of minutes and found a great arrays of shops including a Starbucks outlet. There was also a turtle conservation compound with some other animals to interact with, just within a few minutes of walking. The kids loved them. Suffice to say, I have no shortcomings to mention about this villa and we knew we made a right decision to come here. No wonder you have to book many months ahead to secure your stay here.

A BREATHTAKING VILLA

We stayed in the Cempaka Villa for 5 nights and it was definitely everything we were hoping for and more.  There was 5 of us travelling and the villa was very spacious! 
The grounds are well maintained, the villa was gorgeous and clean.  The pool was fantastic and deep.
The staff were very helpful and always available for us.  
Our driver was AMAZING!!!  Budi took us all around Bali showing us the various tourist attractions.  He often got us all signed to our attractions, acting as a translator as well.  His english was very good!    Our host, Oka was very friendly and always available over the phone to connect us with different excursions or things to do as well.  Very nice people.  
The staff also came into the villa each morning and cooked us breakfast, which was delicious everyday!   
The only thing we wish was that we could swim at the beach, unfortunately it was on the inside of the bay and the water was quite dirty.  It was about a 10 min walk to the other side of the peninsula to get to the Nusa Dua Beach.

Very Relaxing with 5 Star Service!!!

I enjoyed a fantastic 4-night stay in Benoa Bay Villa’s Sunset Villa earlier in the month with extended family. 

The villa is huge and immaculate, with everything you could imagine for a luxurious stay - well appointed bathrooms, robes and slippers, a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and a great pool and outdoor relaxation space. 

Perhaps the best part about the villa is the wonderful staff and service. Oka, Atun and Beni exceeded all expectations in providing wonderful breakfasts, spotless cleaning and excellent suggestions for what to do around the area (the villa also comes with a driver for 8 hours per day.) 

A highlight of our stay was a delicious BBQ dinner at the villa organised by the staff, with some of the best food we enjoyed in Bali. 

Thank you and we hope to return one day!

Incredible stay at Sunset Villa

We had an amazing time at Benoa Bay Villas. Oka, Atun, and Beni were crucial to our lovely stay. They were helpful, provided exceptional cooking and offered other great services.

The rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast provided by the team is outstanding. And the pools are well taken care of.

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa Cempaka in Benoa, Bali. The pictures did not deceive, this villa looks exactly as advertised. The facilities, especially the rooms and the private pool, were clean and provided some good comfort. Staying at the villa was just as perfect as discovering the beauties of Bali.

Due to its secluded location by the bay, the villa is able to maintain a feeling of privacy. Numerous restaurants with international as well as traditional Balinese/Indonesian food and drinks can be found on the main road. Since this villa comes with a private driver service included, the beaches and other points of interest can be reached in no time. We want to thank our kind and humble driver Iwayan, who has great knowledge of Bali, for bringing us to interesting and beautiful places and safely back to the villa everyday.

Hands down the biggest upside of staying in this villa is the friendly and helpful staff. Their commitment cannot be overstated, we always felt very welcome at the villa. The service is extraordinary. We want to express our special thanks to Oka and Beni for accommodating us, preparing delicious breakfast, helping us out with our plans and simply giving us a wonderful time in Bali.

We are looking forward to our next stay in Bali and we would certainly like to return to Benoa Bay Villas.

Beautiful Secluded Villas

We stayed at Sunset Villa for 5 days. The villa was large, it had beach access to the bay at the jetty. It has 3 rooms with 3 indoor and outdoor bathrooms attached to the room. We had 2 families and used all the rooms but still there was so much space for all of us. The beds were large and very comfortable. We loved the outdoor sitting areas - the pool side deck chairs, day beds, sofa area. My son is a sea creature lover. So this beach was great as it was teaming with sealife - fiddler and hermit crab heaven, small fish, mudskippers etc. It is very shallow, and dry during low tide, so it is not really a swimming beach. We like that it came with kayaks that we used when the tide was in. The villa was well stocked with water, tea, coffee, fridge, kitchen. We didn't walk out to the street for food - we stocked up on snacks/beer/juices at the supermarket on the way back from wherever we were, or took the car out to get lunch. We found some delivery service that we could use if we wanted - like Nusa Dua Pizza does deliveries (really good woodfire pizza) or the Grab app. 

We received excellent service from Oka, Atun, Budi (driver) during our stay. They looked after our arrangements. Oka went through us what we wanted to do the next day so they can plan what time to cook breakfast, get ready the car, in-villa massage arrangements (price was great!), BBQ dinner, laundry (by kg returned the next day) etc. 

The car was invaluable! It came with our package and was available for our use each day. They need at least 2hrs advance notice, which wasn't a problem as we decided what time we needed the car the night before or during breakfast, and where we would like to go. Our driver, Budi picked us up at the airport and was tagged to our family throughout our stay. He also made dinner/lunch reservations when we needed recommendations. I wanted Babi Guling that I read about, he brought us to get Pak Dobil Babi Guling at Nusa Dua for take away lunch (one of the best babi guling). During our stay, we visited Uluwatu, Jimbaran beach seafood, Bali Safari, Ubud day trip, Seminyak. The car arrangement is for 8 hrs per day (included in the package), we paid for petrol (abt Rp 200k), parking (not much), toll (abt Rp 100k) and any extra hours (Rp 70K per hour). We settled these with Budi at the end of each day. 

Our kids said we need to come back again, and I agree. :)

p/s We also found out that the villa was previously managed by a different group. This explains the differing reviews especially earlier ones (before 2017). So do note that this is a different management and the recent reviews are great, as is mine. There are 2 villas here - Sunset and Cempaka. We stayed at Sunset Villa. Cempaka Villa also has 3 bedrooms, and a pool, but no bay front view.
