Pros - great location, fairly comfortable bed, working air con, warm shower, cheap scooter rental

Cons - toilet is basically in the room with a tiny door for privacy and doesn’t flush properly, shower head doesn’t stay on the wall so have to hold it yourself, water leaked through an outside door so woke up to half the bedroom floor and our luggage flooded, no window pane in bathroom window so rain gets in, curtains don’t stop light getting in, laundry came back a day later than we were told and still wet

Only stay for location

Spacious room. Nice reception. They offer a bike rent for a good price. Many restaurants near the hotel also walking distance from the beach.
Single cover for a Queen bed. Terrible bathroom. Air con was broken when we arrived but they manage to fix it quickly.

You are getting the very average room with one bed, drawers and half-opened toilet. You need to ask staff to change your bed sheets or towels. We had the pool in front of our door, fridge is sharing for few rooms. The place is quite  despite all  the cafes and bars around. The beach is 7 minutes away

Average room but the location is good

Pros:
- good location 
- reasonably priced 
- scooter hire

Cons:
- rooms smell bad
- toilet seat broken
- no toilet paper
- one towel for double room
- single sheet/blanket for double bed
- electric shock from vending machine in lobby (staffed just laughed)
- Wi-Fi doesn't work
- very noisy guests/area

Don't expect much

Room has only window from staircase to your bed and that window has a small curtain that covers only half of it - said no-one ever in booking.com :)
Should I add: Hair on pillows and in toilet, 1 small kids blanket (without linen) for two grownups, broken toilet seat, toilet stink in whole room, no-one to ask or complain as only "a friend" of the real guy was present at evening..
But at least they had warm water shower.
This was most expensive "budget night" during my three weeks in Bali and Gilis, and worst as well :/ 

No windows?

We saw the room available in booking.com and so we went directly there. We weren’t looking for something really expensive neither cheapest. 
The room is big enough and the toilet is normal when you go to a no-expensive hotel in Bali.
The kids at reception were nice doing the check in but they’re kids.
First issue the tv wasn’t working (not a huge problem because we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room but if you offer something online try to have it...working).
The biggest problem for me was ...the ants! The room was full of ants and I don’t like to sleep and have ants in my bed. And all over my stuff.
So what I did? I spent the 2 days killing ants and hiding my stuff in the bags.
They can clean better the room just to avoid this kind of problem and they should clean as well the walls because you can see the webs.
And I didn’t go to reception to ask for something because there were 2 kids in the desk the entire time and because I know they don’t provide room service. 
So at check out time there was a sir and we mentioned that our room was full of ants. And he said we’re going to see.
I hope so.

Not so great but enough for one night when everything around is fully booked 

Stayed for 3 nights when I was on a solo surf trip. Handy location in the main area of Canggu. Room seemed clean, air con worked, the toilet flushed and the door locked. Shower was a little dodgy either really really hot or no hot water at all. 
Staff were really friendly although I think their English was not so special. Was a little noisy but that was due to guests partying. 
I really just wanted somewhere comfortable to sleep and this fitted the bill. Save your money on accommodation and spend it at the great restaurants and you are a good chance of dodging the Bali Belly

Great Location Cheap Price

68 rooms is worth booking for the location / price alone. Bang in the middle of Canggu, and a short walk to the beach whilst also surrounded by a number of cafe's, restaurants, bars etc. 

The hotel also has decent WiFi, better in the reception then anywhere else - the reception also has a small selection of snacks and drinks at quite cheap prices which comes in handy!

On the downside, there was some loud music one night, however it was a Saturday so can't really complain too much, kind of expected. Also, the "duvet" provided was a bit of a joke - it was more of a flannel. It only covers half your body, just couldn't get my head around it. Also, we stayed in room 5, and the bed was UNBELIEVABLY creaky, so so so bad to the point where I didn't want to roll over in the night in fear of waking up my partner - this neeeeeeds to be sorted. 

Overall though, for the cheap price, can't really complain, especially in such a cracking location!

Location location location!

It's a room,  with a roof.  In the middle of canggu.
 You pay for the location and ease of booking. 
Unsure if the sheets are clean. Shower is cold.  Unsure if curtains are see-through?  We have two windows onto the main corridor....  I hope so.
