This hotel promises more than it can deliver. For the price you pay, I would expect more. The staff was very friendly and helpful when we needed them, but sadly a lot of the things we asked them to do, could have been avoided, if they had just done it before it became an issue. E.g., one day our room was not cleaned, and we had to ask for new towels repeatedly, and the pool was moreover filled with filth and dead bugs, because the cleaners were not on, which I assume was an attempt to save money on the electric bill. However, if they claim to be running a four stars resort, I also assume that the extra money I pay for that would entail, that I would not have to ask for the pool to be cleaned. The place is located really well on the Island and quite quiet in the evenings, which is nice. It has a lot of potential, but seeing the staff sit around all day seemingly hoping for as little to do as possible just ruins the experience a little. Thus, all in all a somewhat disappointing stay and I honestly believe that it was only worth half the price. 

Disappointing 

Loved this place. The huts/cottages were so well maintained & spotless, the air conditioning worked perfectly & silently. The pool is a fresh water pool & it a good size. The staff were friendly & helpful. The location was great, close to everything & quiet. Just 50 metres from the beach & about a 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal. The one thing that was disappointing was that there was no fridge in the room. But the staffr are happy to keep any drinks you have cold in the kitchen fridges. There is also a small shop next door on one side & on the other side another little resort that make awesome pizza's, made by an Italian guy & his wife.

Great spot

We enjoyed our stay and here's a short review of it:

Pros:
- It's new, clean, comfortable, instagrammable. Cottages adopt Lombok's traditional house style, its shingle roof enable the room to be pretty cold although the weather is very hot outside.
- It comes with air con and fresh water (some lodgings in the island provide only brackish water for non-cooking use).
- There's a swimming pool, a perfect way to escape the heat. Sundecks and airbeds are available. The water stays warm at night, thanks to the heat in daytime. My son wants to swim here all the time.
- The breakfast is decent, standard fare for the Gilis: choice of pancake/eggs & toast/jaffles, tea/coffee/orange juice, mixed cut fruit.
- It's off the main street so less noisy than other hotels.
- Friendly staff.
- Competitive price, very affordable considering the facilities.

Cons:
- There's no signage for the hotel on the main street, so we had to ask people several times and almost lost.
- It doesn't serve meals beside breakfast, so we must buy lunches, dinners, and snacks outside.
- It rents bikes but the price is higher than other providers, Rp 50 K (less than US$ 4)/bike/day; so we ended up renting bikes elsewhere for only Rp 30 K/bike/day.

New & clean cottages, warm pool, friendly staff

I stayed in a Single Bed Room for two nights. Comfy room and very clean inside. Their swimming pool is big with fresh water. Startegic location and close to the beach only 50 metres. Totally great resort in small island.
