Stayed in two family rooms for 3 nights.  Our first impressions were that the rooms were quite basic but they were very large and spotlessly clean.

The staff were always happy and even chopped down fresh coconut for us from the trees.  Happy hour cocktails were well made and icy cold while watching the sunset.

Aman and his team did an excellent job and for the price, this is an excellent option on Gili Air

Great staff and clean rooms

I went there to celebrate my partner's birthday.
When I went there to book a table I said that was for a special occasion and they set a table on the beach close to the heart.
The service was perfect and the food was so delicious.
Plus when we ordered the dessert they put a candle on top of it.
They really care about the guests.
If you go there won't be disappointed!

Absolutely amazing!!!

Salabose is amazing! We were here with four friends and stayed in a familyroom (nr.7). The room was big, clean and the porch outside was spacy. The pool is very nice but the beach in front should be their nr. 1 selling point. Because they also have a restaurant and beds and tables on the beach with a nice view on the other two Gili Islands, as well as Lombok. 

The food is great, they also have a lot of facilities (bike rental, snorkeling gear rental, a small shop). 

The staff is very friendly, very helpful and try their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The included breakfast is amazing: coffee, juice, fruit platter and a dish of your choice (pancake, jaffle, etc).

Go here! I highly recommend this place. You support a true family business. 

They undersell themselves on booking site

We didn’t stay in the cottages but we had the best lunch on gili air in this restaurant. It was absolutely delicious. 
The tables are directly on the beach with a beautiful sight. Staff is super friendly. 


Food is delicious! 

Salabose Cottages was one of the few places that could accommodate our whole family and was the perfect base for our time on Gili Air. The easy access to the beach, pool, very friendly staff, activities desk and closeness to a variety of restaurants made it a really fun place to be with our 4 children. The guys working there, particularly Za, Pool and Dune, went out of their way to make our time there memorable!

We had a great family holiday here

In all we stayed here three weeks staying in no. 2 which is one of the beach front huts ( 2 has an outdoor bathroom) and no.6 which is the furthest rear garden  bungalow. 

No.2 has the location, a view of the beach and a cute outdoor bathroom but for us no.6 was much better. 

No.6 has more privacy and is quieter as it is away from the beach path. It has a nicer interior and bigger outdoor porch area. ( see photos) 

Both rooms have tea facilities, a fridge, aircon and toiletries. 

Note, most places have live music of an evening so any beach facing huts are generally noisier. Music stops around 11:30

Breakfast is included and you can choose from omelette, pancake, toast, with juice, tea & coffee. You are always given a fresh fruit plate. 

The team are very friendly and try their best with everything. 

Amazing sunset location. 

If you can, walk in and book direct for the best rate. 



Returned after a week, beautiful Bungalow and location 

I went from 29/12 till 03/01/2018 and really recomend this place for a new years party with the family. The food is great and the rooms clean and beatiful. The swiming pool is new and the staff very nice. The party is just 50m from the bungallows. 

Best place for start the year!

Very nice place. 
The staff is extremely friendly. The rooms are very clean. We had a big locker for all our things. The cook made a perfect job. Try the fried icecream-amazing. Breakfast is everyday freshmade and delicious, especially the coffee!!
The place is quiet. Good to relax. And the sunset-georgious.
