Jimmy is so nice and welcoming. He made sure everything was perfect and suggest us many activities for a fair price. Bungalows are very clean and the bed very comfortable. I recommend it 100% if you're looking for a simple and authentic place.

This bungalow was perfect for me and my wife. Close to the beach and easy to find... 

Well, i hope they will add another rooms... 

Cant wait to travel to gili again and stay at this bungalow...

Great place... 

Chillhouse is a fairy new place to stay. At present there are only two bungalows. They are of a good size, with a semi outdoor bathroom with a cold water shower. The aircon worked well and the wifi was good for the first two days but then didn't work for the next two.
The two young lads who run the place are extremely friendly and helpful and cook a good breakfast. The rooms do not have a fridge but you can use theirs 5m away from your door. They are always offering to make you tea and coffee and asking if there is anything you need or that they can do for you. 
Unfortunately, like most places in the Lombok region that we have been to there is a loud mosque nearby. If you are a light sleeper you will hear the call to prayer at around 5am every morning and during Ramadan it is even earlier!!

Extremely friendly young staff 

I booked the ChillHouse basing on the (few) reviews from trip advisor and booking.com. Sadly, these reviews did not agree with my own experience for mainly two reasons:

1) Nobody was waiting for me in the harbour even after exchanging several emails about my arrival and reminding them one day before. After waiting for more than 15 minutes, I decided to try to find the hotel by myself, which would be impossible if the island was not that small. When arriving in the hotel, I was welcomed by a surprised young man, who thought that I would arrive only 1 hour later. After some discussion, I managed to prove him wrong by showing the exchanged emails with the owner (?). If they cannot manage only 2 rooms, I wonder how they are going to administrate the hotel if more room are added.  
2) The hotel is pretty small and do not have any facilities at all (only 2 cottages and a small dirty shared kitchen). 

After this first bad experience, I went back to the harbour region and checked the price of the much better resorts/hotels. For my surprise, they offered larger rooms with sea views and swim pool for only 30% higher costs. Without any hesitation, I went back to the ChillHouse, took my luggages and went to another hotel.
