Fantastic Cottages was the perfect fit for my partner and I on Gili Meno! Close to shops and the port for convenience, but still tucked away protected by its own beautiful tropical garden to have privacy and space. The family running the cottages are so lovely and Annie makes a delicious omelette and coffee! It was also so easy to rent fins and snorkels daily and the free water cooler in each room was also a lovely surprise. Thank you so much!! 

Perfect Gili Meno Experience!

Fantastic resort for stay with family and friends. Very Good resort for food and services . Peaceful and natural climate are there. I was enjoyed with my colleagues full night in open place.

Business Trip

The cottages are clean and well kept , fresh hot and cold drinking water provided , The trip advisor map is showing it in the middle of the island and this cost us a horse ride when it’s only a stroll from the harbour- not the cottages fault
Breakfast is good ,the usual standard fruit ,egg etc 
Eni runs it and was friendly and always available and helpful 
Price is good for the place , it’s quiet relaxing and not far from the beach ,restaurants and harbour

Easy walk from the harbour

Amazing rooms (go for the deluxe over the standard- it’s more than worth it). Great location- less than 100 steps to the beach, but you are far enough from the main beach road to have peace and quiet. Every now and then the bells from the passing horse drawn carriages are the only sounds you’ll hear apart from waves and birds. 

Rooms have a water cooler with hot/ cold water and a fridge. They will bring you a new 5 gallon jug upon request. Every room has a private porch with lines to hang clothes/ towels. You can have meals delivered to the dining table on the porch. 

The family at the hotel can organise any activity you want. I always try to organise things myself so I can get the best price- but for fishing trips, snorkelling trips, and horseback riding at sunrise the family at the hotel offered a better price than anywhere else I could find on the whole island. I assume the same holds true with other activities as well. Their prices are more than fair- especially for food! 

Speaking of food- don’t leave without trying the BBQ Fish here. The local fish monger will come around with the morning’s catch in the late morning. The lady who runs the place will get some fish for her family meal- go over and check it out when she does. Pick out the fish you want, tell her when you want to have dinner, and get ready to be AMAZED!! Fresh fish cooked perfectly. My wife doesn’t even like fish and she insisted that we get another BBQ fish dinner the day after we had it the first time. Can’t praise the food here highly enough! 

If you are looking for a quite island paradise, with the option to get to know a local family, perfect private rooms, amazing food brought to your door, no stress and no worries- you will be happy here. Just be warned- you will probably change your plans and want to stay for a few extra days! Don’t say I didn’t tell you so! 

Less than 5 minute walk to a great dive shop and the pick-up point for island hoping within the Gili Islands, ferry to Lombok and Bali (Padang Bai).

I would certainly stay here again!

Fantastic cottages Is an amazing hotel, the sweetest people working there. 3 minutes walk down to the beach, a small store 3 minutes from the hotel. The food is very nice and there is alot to pick. The rooms are very clean.
