Planned to stay here 3 days - ended up almost a week! We really loved it here. The rooms are big with great air con and are cleaned every single day. The breakfast was really good and filling. It wasn’t by the sea however was a 10 min walk to the sea and 20 mins max to the harbour. The pool was a little dirty - could have been cleaned more often but overall everything was fab and the people who worked here were so nice and quick to help with any problems. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Perfect chilled break

Stayed here for 5 nights because the place is fantastic, the pool is awesome, the rooms are very clean and fresh and the breakfast is really good.
 The host is so nice and helpful, he took us to a snorkeling trip and arranged our boats leaving from Gili. We also had rental bikes from the hotel. Everything was perfect, much better than what we had expected. Thanks to the great host! Will sure come back again!

Strongly recommend

I stayed here for three nights and just adored it. The villas are bathed in sunshine, light and airy. Super comfortable beds and cold AC. Nice outdoor bathroom (Gili Air is mixed salt and fresh water fyi). The staff were helpful, great (simple) breakfast selection included in the room. The staff were really helpful - organised transportation off the island for me. It's about a 5 minute walk to the beach which makes it extremely quite and peaceful. There is a little shop on the short walk home to get any last minute supplies/ beers. Bikes are for rent at 30k a day and in great shape. Left super happy and would for sure go back!

Fabulous little villas close to the beach

The "G Two Cottages" are located in the north of Gili Air, which is the more tranquil area of the island, as also Gili air is getting more and more flooded with tourists. 
As a result when you arrive with luggage, it is maybe 25-30 minutes to walk when you refuse to take a horse carrier like we did. (They look harassed and also we are good for a Walk)
The "resort" consists of 6 huts, which seem to be pretty new. 
The equipment is basic but sufficient. 
The bathroom is large with a lot of space at the end of the huts, as a separated room.
The whole surrounding grounds are lovely prepared with flowers and plants.
Also there is a Pool as Central Point, which invites for a relaxed sunbathing apart of the beach trouble.

The breakfast consists of a selection from different Omelettes and pancakes, completed with a fruit plate.
As beverages they serve orange juice, Lombok coffee or Nescafé. 
It was always very tasty and we enjoyed it every morning! 

A bike rental is available and the beach with locals is maybe 5 minutes away, the direct way to the beach is less.

Finally the staff helped us with every question and was always friendly.

We would recommend this location 100% :)

Lovely accommodation with helpful staff

The Staff were absolutely wonderful- very friendly, knowledgable, easy to communicate with. We loved our rooms. They were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was beautifully decorated and spacious. Linens and towels were very clean and good quality. The breakfast was simple and tasty, a great start to every morning! The pool was nice (especially at night when you can look up at the stars). The location of the cottages was perfect: further away from the hustle and bustle on the south of the island but still close to plenty of good restaurants, bars, beaches, and snorkeling sites (ex. Hans reef). We also greatly appreciated that the staff went above and beyond to make sure our travel to and from the hotel was a stress-free as possible; they arranged for airport pickup in Lombok, local/fast boat from Bangsal port to Gili air, and horse carriage pick up. It saved us a lot of stress and confusion (as see saw plenty other tourists running around confused about their boat and trying in vain to communicate with port authorities). We will definitely be returning to G Two cottages, and will recommend to all our friends and family visiting Gili Islands.

My advice to potential guests: Contact the hotel directly, instead of booking through a third party (ex. booking.com)! The hotel manager can easily assist you with booking (at a fair price) and can also help you arrange transport to suit your travel needs.

Amazing Value for Price - A Hidden Paradise on Gili Air!

The hotel is super nice. 
It’s on the other side of the island from the port. 
So it’s really quiet there and a perfect place to relax.
The staff was trying to fulfill all of our wishes and was kind.
The only not perfect thing was that there were a lot of ants everywhere. Besides the ants there were also spiders in the bungalow. 
But you’re still in Asia so I guess you have to life with that if you want to go on a vacation here.

Perfect place to relax and super nice staff

A bit further away from the "centre", ca 20min of walking from the harbor. Close to the beach, quiet place, but I guess the most of places are quiet on the island :) 
Very good breakfasts, a nice and clean pool, even though the water was a bit too warm :)

Location - not exactly in the centre, otherwise nice

We enjoyed our stay at g two cottages. The bungalows are very nice, the beds are good and we loved the pool! Staff is very friendly. You can easily rent bikes for 40k a day and biking in the evening in the dark streets is absolutely fine if you bring a flashlight. However the one thing that kept us from extending our booking was that you can hear the mosque really loudly from 6 pm until 00am and at 3am again. Probably due to Ramadan which is understandable but we preferred a place more quietly. However we really liked the place so it was a pity we couldn’t extend. 

Nice cute bungalows

G two cottages are really pretty and the rooms are nice. They have VERY comfy beds too! The staff are so friendly and helpful, the only downfall is that G two is on the opposite side of the island to the harbour so there is not a huge amount to do. The beach is a 2 minute walk away with a few restaurants and bars but other than that it is very remote. The walk to the harbour would take about 25 minutes. Really nice place though, clean rooms and nice pool, very good price too!

Nice place, remote location 

We were disappointed with our stay here. It looked nice in the pictures and all we needed was something basic, however when we arrived our room was dirty and didn't look like it had been cleaned in a month. People were friendly however the room had lots of cobwebs everywhere and lots of dust. Would advise people not to go as I don't think they clean it very often... Also shower is cold.
